Weekend Sunrise has teamed up with Primo to get behind grassroots sports by rewarding and recognising local champions on and off the field.

After a tough couple of years of seasons being interrupted and the inability to raise much needed-funds for clubs, we are here to help.

We’re searching for a local community sporting club to support in their fundraising efforts by providing them with $5,000 for equipment, development programs and/or capital works.

Nominate your club now by filling in the entry form and Weekend Sunrise could be heading your way on Saturday 28 May for a day of sport and a BBQ.

As well as the $5,000 cash boost, all sales generated from the BBQ will also go straight back into the club!

Please read these important considerations prior to submitting your nomination:

The Weekend Sunrise weather activation is scheduled for Saturday 28 May.

Access for Weekend Sunrise crew at the nominated weather location is from 6.00am AEST – 10.00am AEST.

Truck access for BBQ in proximity to Weekend Sunrise’s weather broadcast is required to the nominated location is from 6.00am AEST – 10.00am AEST. 4.5t weight/ 3.6m clearance required. No power or water required. Truck can remain onsite all day so not to disrupt sporting schedules if applicable.

Club/community sports President/Managing Bodies need to be consulted before submitting a nomination.

In the event of inclement weather on Saturday 28 May a back-up location may need to be considered.
