Australia’s Incredible Insects Author: Jessa Thurman (entomologist and photographer) This visual book is filled with seriously weird and wonderful facts about insects so kids can foster an appreciation for insects rather than fear them – for example, did you know ants communicate through smell and the fastest insect on earth is the South Australian Tiger Beetle, which can run up to 2.5m per second or up to 9km per hour?
