Live at the Village is an arts collective renowned for presenting many of Australia’s premiere contemporary musicians in a variety of styles as well as several international artists in their long-running concert series. In 2019 the collective received funding from Create NSW to present their first-ever music festival. After two years rescheduling, they are excited to now be staging a one-day event this August. On Saturday 27 August, Live at the Village Music Festival brings acclaimed Australian musicians to Springwood in the Blue Mountains, just over an hour’s drive from the centre of Sydney. The festival includes astounding music from many acclaimed artists including world music, bluegrass, jazz, dance, exotic instruments and improvisation. Explore the program Concerts will be held in the Blue Mountains Theatre. The world-class 418-seat venue has sublime acoustics and is a premiere destination for arts events in the region. More intimate cameo performances will be staged in the theatre complex’s Studio One. The winner will enjoy a one-night stay on Saturday 27 August in nearby Faulconbridge.
