RACQ has partnered with Outback Queensland Tourism Association and Winton’s Outback Festival, giving members the chance to win a Winton Outback Festival experience. Street parade during Winton Outback Festival. The iconic Winton Outback Festival has been an unmissable outback experience since 1972. Fast forward 50 years, the biennial event brings Winton alive, drawing thousands of visitors to experience the outback extravaganza. To celebrate this half-century milestone, RACQ and Outback Queensland are giving members the chance to win a Winton Outback experience. The prize is valued at $520 and includes: Two tickets to Golden Anniversary Gala Dinner under the Stars (Saturday 24 September). Two tickets to Recovery Bush Poets Breakfast and Show (Sunday 25 September). Two Waltzing Matilda Centre passes. Four nights’ powered caravan and motorhome camping site at the festival. (Arrivals from Thursday 22 September 2022 after 10am. Departures before 10am Monday 26 September 2022). Building upon the success of years past, this one-off anniversary event packed with festivities, is an exciting opportunity for anyone who lives, breathes, or craves the Aussie Outback way of life – suitable for the whole family.
