How to enter:
To enter, submit your email address on the competition page on the InspiringVacations.com website, and then submit additional entries by visiting our social media accounts and sharing with friends and family. By entering, you agree to be added to the Inspiring Vacations subscriber list and to receive marketing material. (You can unsubscribe from this marketing list at any time following the end of the giveaway).
After entering your email address (which is a prerequisite for entry to the competition), additional entries to the competition can be made by:

Consistent with point 2 above, multiple entrees are accepted but must be made using the competition application software published on the Inspiring Vacations competition web page and through social media.
Winner and Prize Details:
One grand prize & four runner-up prize winners will be randomly drawn from all valid entries via the Gleam competition software upon the completion of the giveaway. A winner cannot be drawn twice and the winners’ email addresses will be verified. Invalid entries determined by either the Gleam competition software's fraud detector or a manual inspection by the Inspiring Vacations marketing team will be ineligible for the draw.

Prize Details:

Grand Prize

(1) x 11 Day Authentic Japan tour with international return airfares, for 2 people, twin share (valued at $6,596 AUD).

The grand prize winner will have a choice of departing on either 17th of May 2023 or 6th of June 2023.
International airfares are included in the grand prize for the winner and their travel companion, departing from one of the following cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide. See below for more flight terms and conditions.

Runner-up Prizes

(4) x $1000 AUD Inspiring Vacations vouchers redeemable at inspiringvacations.com

These will be awarded electronically to four individual winners via the email provided in their entry.
The value of the vouchers will expire 3 months from the send date. The vouchers may be used for any departure dates that are currently available on our website. Travel does not have to occur prior to the expiry date, but the booking needs to be confirmed prior to expiry. 

Prize Notification and Claim

All winners will be notified via the email provided within 2 business days of the prize draw. This initial email communication will ask for their official acceptance of the prize and all Terms and Conditions. Instructions on how to proceed with their booking or voucher claim will follow. For the grand prize, the winner and their travel companion must be able to travel on one of the provided departure dates above or the prize may be forfeited. All prizes as described are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Please continue reading for Cancellation Policies. Once the booking is confirmed, no changes to the departure date or traveller details can be made. The name of the winner will be published on the Inspiring Vacations competition page on the date of the draw. If a grand-prize winner is drawn and they do not respond with their acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of the email being sent, a new winner may be drawn at the discretion of Inspiring Vacations. If a runner-up winner is drawn and they do not respond within 48 hours of the email being sent the prize will be forfeited. If the entrant has provided an incorrect email address, Inspiring Vacations cannot be held responsible as a consequence if the prize is ultimately redrawn. Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to substitute the prize at any time for one of equal value.

Eligibility:
The competition is open to residents of Australia (excluding the Australian Capital Territory & South Australia) and winners must be over the age of 18. Employees, contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible.

Other Terms and Conditions:
1. This is a game of chance. The winner will be randomly drawn from the list of eligible entrants. An entrant can have multiple entries.
2. Entry into this competition is deemed to be in acceptance of these conditions. Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
3. Our travel packages are subject to availability at the time you book. The prize booking must be made no later than 30 days past the date of the winner notification or the prize will be forfeited.
4. Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to our website.
5. Flights for the grand prize will be booked by Inspiring Vacations with the best available airline(s) with luggage included. Inspiring Vacations will not enter into any correspondence regarding flight requests. No upgrades or special requests will be considered. Low-cost carriers may be booked in conjunction with a full-service airline. Depending on the carrier, entertainment and meals may not be included but payable at an extra cost on-board. We cannot specify or guarantee the airline booked. Flights may not be direct and may include multiple connections. Due to disrupted airline schedules globally with the pandemic, stopovers/transit times may be longer than usual (up to 12 hours in duration in some circumstances). Once ticketed, flights are non-refundable; any changes will be subject to the airline rules and change fees. Full names as per passport (including all middle names) are required at the time of submitting your traveler booking form. Any error in the names submitted will be subject to fees to amend with the airline or the ticket may be non-refundable with the purchase of a new ticket required. Any airline schedule changes or cancellations are beyond our control and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they are familiar with the most up-to-date airline schedule prior to departure. All tickets will include 20 kilos of checked baggage per person, along with 7 kilos of hand luggage to restrictions with internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation.
6. The prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred and traveler details cannot be amended once the booking is confirmed.
7. The prize is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (bedding configuration is not guaranteed).
8. If the grand prize tour does not meet the minimum requirements for departure, Inspiring Vacations will offer alternative dates.
9. The winner and their travel companion will be responsible for any additional costs that are not identified in the inclusions section of the detailed itinerary. This itinerary will be shared with the winner upon acceptance of the prize. Airfares and/or transportation to the itinerary starting point, any optional upgrades, meals and other excluded expenses are payable by the prize winner.
10. The winner of the grand prize and their travel companion must have the ability to supply photography and video media content for marketing purposes from their travels on the “11 Day Authentic Japan” tour. Mobile device quality media content is acceptable.
11. All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded tour will be sent via email. It will be the responsibility of the winner to notify us of any contact detail changes.
12. Should you be forced to cancel your booking for whatever reason, standard terms and conditions will apply and no credit or refund of the tour value or date change would be applicable.
13. Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations terms & conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking or compensation will be available. Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to: (a) war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; (b) natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; (c) nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; (d) epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or (e) change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
