SO, WHAT’S THE PROCESS?

Take a look through this page, explaining exactly what we’re looking for with all the tips and tricks that will help inform your cocktail submission.

Get inspired and creative, meet distillers and talk to brands about how to use Aussie spirits and products that fit your inspiration.

You must submit your cocktail by October 31st so state finalists can be selected by the judges from your state.

State finalists will present (in person or digitally) for a chance to win at state level.

State finalists will be automatically entered into the national final at Dulcie’s on December 12th where the winner and runners up will be announced.

Entries are being sought from bartenders across Australia, and we've partnered with some of the best bars in the country to host and judge local heats. Information regarding heats will be posted to you once we have your final submission and recipe.

The coupe is all about drinks. We want good quality Aussie cocktails that can be replicated in any bar around the country, if not the world, and become local classics. This means it is NOT a competition based on pageantry and personal presentation. It is all about the drink.

The Coupe is for anyone from any skill level. Whether you’ve entered competitions before or have always wished you had, we’re after those who understand flavour, hospitality and are passionate about home grown produce. If you have a great idea for a great drink our taste buds are waiting for you.

What we are looking for:

Dulcie’s is a fast-paced cocktail bar in Kings Cross that uses 100% Australian products. We are a small bar that seats 60 patrons. Our past menus have ranged from classic twists to experimental drinks that are explorations of flavour and craft spirts. All our signature drinks are inspired by stories from Sydney’s history. This history is detailed in the menu to give each drink context.
