Rockhampton Zoo Christmas Decoration Competition (https://www.rockhamptonzoo.com.au/files/assets/rockyzoo/images-thumbs/meerkat-close-up-thumb-nail.png?dimension=pageimage&w=480) Two Meerkat Encounters are up for grabs! Help us decorate the Rockhampton Zoo Christmas tree, and you could win a Meerkat Encounter for up to four participants. Instructions: Download and print your favourite Christmas decoration silhouette from the options below (Decoration silhouettes will be available from Friday 9 December) Write your name and contact telephone number on the back of your decoration (so that we can contact you if you win!) Decorate the silhouette with any of the following: Colouring pencils Wax crayons Felt tip pens Non-toxic paints Please do NOT use (as animals at the zoo can choke on them): Glitter Sequins Any other forms of plastic of any kind (e.g. bottle tops etc) Cut out the Christmas decoration silhouette and use a hole punch to make a hole for the string (Note: Ask an adult to help with this if you’re not sure!) Tie a piece of string in a loop through the hole in the Christmas decoration (please use twine or string, NOT plastic ribbon). THE BEST BIT! Come for a visit to Rockhampton Zoo and say hello to our animals! While you’re here, add your completed Christmas decoration to the Rockhampton Zoo Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is being looked after by Bruce and Noojee, our two friendly wombats on display. You will find the Christmas tree on the viewing platform between their two enclosures. Please read Terms and Conditions(PDF, 209KB) prior to entering competition. Competition runs from 12.00pm on Friday 9 December 2022 to 12.00pm on Wednesday 21 December 2022. Decorations will be available on this webpage from Friday 9 December. |
