Title: Win 1/15 copies of “Come Together” books - Sunday Telegraph - NSW
Post by: culturebird on Sunday 27 November 2022, 06:35:14 am
HAVE you heard the music of Isaiah Firebrace? After winning The X Factor in 2017, Firebrace then went on to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest.

And now he has written a book – Come Together: Things Every Aussie Kid Should Know About The First Peoples.

This is a picture book for children aged five and over, inspired by his petition to the federal government calling for Aboriginal history to be taught in every classroom.

This book has 20 key topics about our First Nations people, from caring for country and Dreaming stories, to the importance of elders and the Indigenous origins of AFL.

“I want everyone who reads this book to understand more about First Nations people and the true history of our country,” he said.

To celebrate its publication by Hardie Grant, we have 15 copies to give away.

To enter, colour in the picture and then ask your parent or carer to take a photograph and email it to funday@sundaytelegraph.com.au.

Please put Come Together in the subject line and fill in the coupon so we can contact you if you are a winner.

It also helps to put your details at the top of the email as sometimes Harry the dog finds it hard to read handwriting.

Entries must be in by Thursday so the winners can be published on the Health Hacker page in next week’s Sunday Telegraph. Harry the dog and the Funday team will pick only the best 15 entries to receive the books, so get creative.
