Terms and Conditions – Australia Day Party Pack 2023
Information on how to enter and the conditions of entry form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The “Promoter” is Mount
Sheridan Plaza, 106 Barnard Road, Mount Sheridan QLD 4868. ABN: 68 266 146 096
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, participants must shop in store and obtain a receipt, (there is no minimum purchase required) scan
the QR code on promotional materials, complete the online form and attach a photograph/proof of the
receipt.
PRIZES
3 winners will receive 1 prize pack each valued at approximately $500. Prize packs will include a $100 Mr
Meats Gift Voucher, a big selection of non-perishable food items, inflatable pool toys, outdoor picnic rug,
chairs, large beach umbrella, cooler package and cricket gear.
DURATION
January 9-23, 2023
ELIGIBILITY & TERMS
1. Entry is open to residents 18 and over living in the Cairns Region from Atherton, to Port Douglas to
Cardwell and all postcodes in-between.
2. Employees and Retailers of Mount Sheridan Plaza and immediate families are ineligible to enter.
“Immediate family member” means any parent, spouse, sibling, child, defacto and/or any other family
member residing at the same address as that person.
3. All details provided by the Entrant must be true and accurate.
4. Entrants may submit as many entries as desired but can only win a maximum of 1 prize, and only 1
entrant per family unit may win a prize.
5. 3 winners will be selected via a random number generator on January 23, 2023.
6. The Promoter’s decision on winners is final and conclusive and no comment or correspondence will
be entered into.
7. Prizes must be collected in person within 2 weeks of notification, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.
8. All winners are required to sign the Promoter’s Prize Form.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity, proof of residency and proof of entry
validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the
absolute discretion of the Promoter. If a winner(s) cannot provide suitable proof the winner(s) will
forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute prize will be offered.
10. While it is highly unusual for prizes to change, the Promoter has the right to alter prizes with no
notice to entrants.
11. The Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other prizes.
12. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct
13. or consequential loss) or any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize except
for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Any issue or dissatisfaction arising from the prize(s) must be directed to the designated retailer.
15. By entering into this Competition, the Entrant consents to any personal information collected being
used by the Promoter for the purpose(s), or directly related purpose(s), of conducting the
Competition, and for marketing and promotional purposes. Entrants should direct any request to
access, update, remove, or correct information direct to the Promoter.
16. The Promoter may take photos and publish names of winners for promotional, marketing and
publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation.
17. The Promoter reserves the right, at their discretion to adjudicate on the eligibility of applicants;
disqualify any participant, and modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition without notice.
18. You consent to us using and storing the information you have provided to us for the purposes of the
general administration and will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act.
