The following Promotion Details are to be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions.
Promotion Details
Item 1:
Promoter

Coast, Broadbeach Island, Broadbeach, Queensland 4218, (07) 5592 8100 (the “Promoter”).

The Promotion will commence at 4.00pm on Tuesday 5 December 2023, and end Tuesday 30
January 2024 at the conclusion of the 8.00pm draw.
All times are listed in Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Item 5:
Entry
Requiremen

Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons who satisfy clause 2 of the Terms and
Conditions of this Promotion.
People who meet these conditions and continue to satisfy the conditions during the Promotion
Period are referred to as “Eligible Entrant/s” and will be entitled to enter the Promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any person participating in the Promotion at any time.
Item 6:
Entry Into
Draws
Eligible Entrants can collect one (1) wristband from The Star Gold Coast, between 4.00pm and
7.45pm on a Draw Day.
A maximum of one (1) Wristband Entry can be taken per Draw Day.
The Eligible Entrant will need to place the wristband onto their own wrist, detach the entry ticket from
the wristband (“Entry Ticket”) and place the Entry Ticket into the Draw Barrel found at the Draw
Location. The wristband must remain intact on the Eligible Entrant’s wrist until after the final draw.
If the Eligible Entrant cannot physically have the wristband attached around their wrist, the Eligible
Entrant must immediately speak to the representative of the Promoter at the time of receiving the
wristband and the representative of the Promoter will record: (1) the entry number on the
wristband/Entry Ticket (“Entry Number”); and (2) the Eligible Entrant’s Star Club Membership
Number or Driver Licence number. The Eligible Entrant must still detach the Entry Ticket from the
wristband and place the Entry Ticket into the Draw Barrel found at the Draw Location.
Entry Tickets can be placed into the Draw Barrel up to one (1) minute prior to each draw.
Each wristband will show a corresponding Entry Number to the detached Entry Ticket. At the time of
the draw the Eligible Entrant must have a “Valid Wristband”, which means:
a) a wristband that is intact on the Eligible Entrant’s wrist at the time of the draw; or
b) if the Eligible Entrant is unable to attach the wristband to the Eligible Entrant’s wrist, the
Eligible Entrant must have provided their Star Club Membership Number or Driver Licence
number to the Promoter (as set out above) and that Eligible Entrant must be in possession
of the wristband.

At each Prize Draw, one (1) Entry Ticket will be randomly drawn from the Barrel at the ‘Draw
Location’ (see Item 8 for Draw Location).
The Entry Number shown on the Entry Ticket will be announced at the Draw Location to find the
Eligible Entrant with the Valid Wristband showing the correct corresponding Entry Number.
(“Selected Person”).
The Selected Person will then need to present to the Draw Location to spin the Prize Wheel and
determine their prize. Please see “Present at the relevant Draw” in Item 9 as to the timeframes in
which the Selected Person must present themselves to a representative of the Promoter and the
Draw Location. Provided the Selected Person is “Present at the relevant Draw”, meets the relevant
timeframes in Item 9, complies with Item 11, and otherwise complies with these Terms, that
Selected Person will be the “Selected Winner”.
The Promoter cannot guarantee that all announcements can be heard at the Draw Location or in all
parts of The Star Gold Coast.
If a Selected Person is not present at the Prize Draw or does not otherwise satisfy these Terms and
Conditions, the section “Not present at the Prize Draw” in Item 9 will apply.
Any drawn Entry Ticket will not be placed back into the Barrel.

Present at
Draws
“Present at the relevant Draw”
To be considered “present at the relevant Draw”, the Selected Person must present themselves to a
representative of the Promoter within three (3) minutes of their name being announced.
If the Selected Person has presented themselves to a representative of the Promoter, the
representative will inform the promotions host at the Draw Location that the Selected Person has
presented themselves and the Selected Person will have ten (10) minutes to make their way to the

Draw Location and confirm their identity. The Selected Person is not permitted to send a proxy to
claim a prize.
Provided that the Selected Person is at the Participating Property, the Promoter reserves the right, in
its absolute discretion, to either:
• Extend the time limit set out in this clause for the Selected Person to make their way to the
Draw Location; or
• Waive the requirement for the Selected Person to present themselves at the Draw
Location,
if the Promoter forms the reasonable view that the Selected Person will be physically unable to
comply with such time limit or requirement due to incapacity or any other such impairment.
It is the responsibility of the Selected Person to request such time extension or waiver from the
representative of the Promoter immediately on presenting themselves to the representative of the
Promoter. Time Extensions or waivers will not be granted retrospectively. If a waiver is granted by
the Promoter, the Selected Person must still comply with all instructions required to validate their
identity, including but not limited to the conditions set out in Item 11.
“Not present at the relevant Draw”
If the drawn Eligible Entrant does not present to the draw location within the time limit listed in Item
10 or does not otherwise satisfy these Terms and Conditions, a maximum of three (3) redraws will
take place before the next Draw. If an Eligible Entrant who satisfies the requirements of these Terms
and Conditions is not identified after conducting three (3) redraws, the prize will not be awarded at
that time and a representative of the Promoter will conduct the next draw/s.
Once the final draw has been claimed, a representative of the Promoter will conduct any draws
where a prize was not awarded and continue redraws until an Eligible Entrant satisfies these Terms
and Conditions.
Item 10:
Prize/s
At each Prize Draw the Selected Winner will be asked to spin the Prize Wheel to determine their
prize:
The Prize Wheel contains eighteen (18) segments consisting of:
(1) Segment of ’STAYCATION’
(2) Segments of $3,000
(2) Segments of $2,000
(2) Segment of $1,000
(4) Segments of ‘Major Mystery’
(7) Segments of ‘Minor Mystery’
‘STAYCATION’ includes two (2) nights’ accommodation in The Star Grand Club Suite (at The Star
Gold Coast) (accommodation only) plus $2,000 The Star Gold Coast Gift Card (valued at a minimum
of $3,380). Accommodation is subject to availability. The following accommodation blackout dates
apply, but are not limited to:

If the wheel lands on a ‘Major Mystery' or ‘Minor Mystery’ segment, winner must then choose a blank
envelope which will reveal their mystery prize.
When the Minor Mystery Prize Packs have been exhausted, winner will receive $250.
When the Major Mystery Prize Packs have been exhausted, winner will receive $500.
Star Gold Coast will issue all monetary prizes via cheque or EFT.
(Each Segment a “Prize”)
The Prize Wheel must make a minimum of two full rotations to be deemed a valid spin. Should the
Prize Wheel not complete two full rotations, the Selected Winner will be required to spin the wheel
again.
The total minimum Prize Pool for each Draw Day is $2,500 and the total maximum Prize Pool for
each Draw Day is $35,000.
Should a Selected Winner not wish to participate in spinning the Prize Wheel, they will be awarded
the minimum cash prize of $250.
Item 11:
Identification
A Selected Winner may be asked to produce valid acceptable identification to a representative of the
Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win spin the wheel and claim a prize.
Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of valid photographic
identification (Passport or Australian driver’s licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph,
or two other forms of non-photographic identification acceptable to the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements at its sole discretion
in circumstances where the identity of a winner is determinable by a representative of the Promoter
without the assistance of these or any other form of identification.
Item 12:
Other
conditions
Wristbands are only valid for Prize Draws on the Draw Day in which they are issued. The barrel will
be emptied at the conclusion of each Draw Day.
Removed, damaged or misplaced Wristbands may not be replaced.
Any guest who has received more than one wristband on a promotion day, will be ineligible to take
part in the promotion and cannot win a prize.
A Selected Winner can nominate a proxy to spin the wheel on their behalf. The proxy cannot be
affiliated with the Promoter.
Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter listed in Item 1 will conduct the
Promotion listed in Item 2 at the Participating
Property listed in Item 3 during the Promotion Period
listed in Item 4.
2. Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons
who meet and continue to satisfy throughout the
Promotion Period the details listed in Item 5 as well
as the following requirements:
a. 18 years of age or older;
b. entitled to access the Draw Location;
c. not excluded (including an exclusion
direction or self-exclusion order) from a
casino or premises operated by The Star
Entertainment Group Limited (and its
related entities); and

d. not the subject of a Withdrawal of License
(WOL) from The Star Sydney, The Star
Gold Coast or Treasury Brisbane.
3. If an Eligible Entrant: (i) has their membership
status cancelled or otherwise amended; (ii) is
excluded from a casino or premises operated by
The Star Entertainment Group Limited (and its
related entities); or (iii) is issued a Withdrawal of
License (WOL) from The Star Sydney, The Star
Gold Coast or Treasury Brisbane:
(a) during the Promotion; or
(b) prior to that person claiming the relevant
prize (if the Eligible Entrant is a selected
winner), so that he or she no longer
satisfies Condition 2, that person will no
longer be eligible to enter or participate in
the Promotion and/or claim a prize (even if
they are the selected winner) and that
person will forfeit any entitlement to a
prize.
4. Eligible Entrant’s must earn Entries during the times
listed in Item 6 through the method listed in Item 6.
5. Draws will occur at the times listed in Item 7 at the
location listed in Item 8.
6. Eligible Entrant’s must present at the draws in
accordance with Item 9 and produce identification in
accordance with Item 11. If applicable the redraw
mechanism is listed in Item 9.
7. The Prizes available in this Promotion are listed in
Item 10
8. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any
person participation in the Promotion.
9. Directors, management and employees of The Star
Entertainment Group of companies (including any
related body corporate as defined in the
Corporations Act 2001) and their immediate families
are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. For
the purposes of this clause, ‘immediate families’ of
an employee means the person’s spouse and family
members residing at the same premises as the
employee. The Star Entertainment Group comprises
but is not limited to the businesses of The Star
Sydney, The Star Gold Coast and Treasury
Brisbane.
10. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be
exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax
liability or implication which attaches to a prize is the
responsibility of the entrant claiming that prize.
11. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss,
damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but
not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or
damage, personal injury or death, and direct or
indirect loss or damage) by an entrant in relation to
entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or
using the prizes offered except where that loss,
damage or injury was caused by breach of these
terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or
negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter.
12. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions
on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of
entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of the
Promoter.
13. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which
these Terms and Conditions make no provision for or
a situation or issue arises to which the relevant
Terms and Conditions are unclear, the Promoter
reserves the right to make a decision regarding such
situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these
Terms and Conditions.
14. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion
as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel
or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the
Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion
or offer a prize due to circumstances outside the
Promoter’s control.
15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or
non-received Entry/Entries. The Promoter does not
guarantee the continuous or fault-free operation of
the entry processes, including entry validating and
receipting processes, during the Promotion.
16. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with
the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to
tamper with the processes used for the draws or who
submits an entry which is not valid in accordance
with these terms will be subject to disqualification at
the discretion of the Promoter.
17. Entrants may be asked to participate in publicity or
advertising at the request of the Promoter.
Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at
the sole discretion of the relevant Entrant. The
names of Entrants will not be published without their
consent except as announced at the Draw Location.
18. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance
of the Terms and Conditions governing the
Promotion. These Terms and Conditions will be
available at The Star Club Desk located at the
participating properties of the Promoter throughout
the Promotion Period.
19. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s
Entry/Entries becomes the property of the Promoter
and may be used for the Promoter’s business
analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with
the Promoter’s privacy statement can be viewed at
www.starentertainmentgroup.com.au/privacy-policy.
Failure to supply the personal information requested
or required by the Promoter may result in an Entry
being deemed invalid. Privacy law allows entrants to
access their personal information held by the
Promoter in certain circumstances.
