The Promoter reserves the right to: • amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion including to close the competition within the Competition Period; • terminate the competition subject to any direction from a regulatory authority. 8. Entry Restrictions a) Promotions are not open to any person, including Australian residents, entering the competition from outside of Australia. b) Entrants acknowledge that they must be contactable by the Promoter to be successful. Entrants unable to be contacted in accordance with these terms for any reason will forfeit their prize / opportunity. How to enter Registration In-store at participating businesses for, on-air activity During the Competition Period: (a) listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials, announcer solicits, promotional trailers or via social media to enter online on SeaFM websites: • https://burnie.seafmtas.com.au/ • https://devonport.seafmtas.com.au/ During the Competition Period: (a) Entrants must visit their Station Website during the Competition Period and fully complete the online entry form, including by providing their name, address, contact number and email address and upload an image of their Top Tradie/Apprentice 2024 Entry. Entries will be active from the 26th of February 2024, 5AM, and then close on the Sunday 10th of March, at 11:59PM, 2024 (b) All valid entries received will be placed into the Voting stage that is active from the 11th – 17th March, finishing 11:59PM. (c) Top 5 Voting will commence from the 18th – 24th of March, Ending 6PM. During the voting period listeners will be invited to vote for the best Top Tradie and Apprentice, Top votes received will win invited to vote for the best Top Tradie and Apprentice, Top votes received will win (d) The Promoter will select up to 1 entry which has the highest number of votes and will be awarded as the winner (e) Winner Announcement in SeaFM Breakfast with Patty & Danni: 25th of March. (f) The promoter in its Absolute Discretion has the right to share entrants’ images online and via its social media platforms 10. Limitation on entries and voting Limitations on entries are as follows: (a) Entrants can submit more than one entry into the competition on behalf of themselves or a friend or employee If any duplicate entries are received from the same Entrant these will be removed or deleted prior to the final draw or judging being conducted Limitations on voting are as follows: (a) Listeners and followers are invited to vote multiple times, however only once per day 11: Prize Details At the end of the promotion the winning tradie will win $1,500 Mitre 10 Store gift card, and the winning Apprentice will win a $500 Mitre 10 store gift card. If there are consolation prizes available The Promoter reserves the right to award consolation or random prizes to entrants at any point throughout the promotion, in its absolute discretion. 12: Total Prize Value $2000 13: Winner Notification Winners will be notified: • On air at the time of winning; - The prize winner will be notified on-air if they have been successful in winning a prize. The prize winner will then be contacted after winning via phone or email to organise the prize being collected by the winner. • Promotions department will follow-up with the winner on claiming their prize from the station at 2 Hillcrest Road, Devonport: - via SMS; - via telephone Prize Claim and Delivery Prize Collection at Station Prizes must be claimed by 25th of April 2024 Winners may be required to prove their identity and show evidence as documented on their birth certificate, driver’s licence or passport before any prize is rewarded. Winners may also be required to provide any documentation which the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s insurer reasonably requests for the purposes of prize redemption. If the prize has been arranged for a certain time/date then the winner must be available to take this as specified by the Promoter. If the winner is unable to facilitate this, then they may be required to forfeit the prize. Prize Claim Date and Time & Unclaimed Prize Draw Prize Claim • Unless otherwise specified by The Promoter prize/s must be claimed within 1 month from the date of the contest and win. • If the winner does not claim their prize(s) within a month period, they will forfeit their prize. • The Promoter will not be liable for prizes that are damaged or lost in the mail or not delivered to the winner due to external circumstances outside of the Promoter’s control. No compensation or replacement prizes will be offered. 16. Special conditions General • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the award of any prize or the pronouncement of a winner or winners (as applicable). • Prizes awarded are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the Promoter. • Should any elements of the prize be changed, moved, cancelled or not available for any unforeseen reason or for reasons outside of the Promoter’s control (including for example COVID-19), the Promoter takes no responsibility and the Prize Winners will not be compensated. • Prior to acceptance of any prize, the Promoter may require the winner to sign documents including a prize acceptance form, consent to broadcast (such as an image or footage release), liability or publicity waiver or indemnity form. Any winner that fails to sign any required documentation as requested by the Promoter may be disqualified from the promotion. • It may also be a condition of being a prize winner that winners be available for on-air interviews and/or in-studio and/or on location interviews, photos or videos as part of redeeming a prize. • Should there be any technical malfunctions for any reason, the Promoter has the option to extend the time period for giveaways and/or change the specified day. The Promoter will then stipulate on air the new end time of the competition. Harassment is unacceptable and unreasonable behaviour that will be met by the Promoter with zero tolerance.
