Entrants unavailable to travel and attend will forfeit their entry. i) Entrants & their travelling companion must hold a current valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the travel dates, including the proposed return date to Australia, and they must meet any entry requirements for their chosen destination. j) Entrants must be able to collect the prize from the Station or nominated travel agent as specified by the Promoter. k) A person that is put to air, or determined as an on-air prize winner cannot pass the telephone call on to anyone else, and should this occur, any person that is on air or has been passed the phone in this capacity will not be eligible for a prize, at the discretion of the Promoter. l) If for any technical reason, the phone line drops out, or they are inaudible or they are or they are unreachable for any reason (including without limitation any technical or operator error), the entrant will not be awarded with a prize. 9. How to enter Phone entry for an on-air activity: At various times during the Competition Period (and in some cases prior to the competition start date): (a) The Promoter will solicit on 08 8305 1323 for callers to participate in Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing; during a specified time period. Listeners may also be invited via Station on-air commercials; announcer solicits or via social media to take part in the competition. (b) Entrants who successfully call 08 8305 1323 and are selected by the Promoter (in its absolute discretion) and meet the entry restrictions will receive an opportunity to contest in Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing. Online entry: (c) Entrants can also visit the station website and complete the online entry form by providing their contact details and by stating in 25 words or less “why do you want to play Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing? (d) Each entry submitted in the above specified competition period will be individually reviewed by representatives of the station. If entrants receive a call or are put to air this does not mean that they are the deemed winner. (f) Up to twenty five (25) registered Entrants will be taken to air for their chance to contest in Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing. (g) Rules will be stipulated on air by the Promoter, at its absolute discretion. (h) The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. (i) The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refrain from broadcasting any call. (j) A person that is put to air, or determined as an on-air prize winner cannot pass the telephone call on to anyone else, and should this occur, any person that is on air or has been passed the phone in this capacity will not be eligible for a prize at the discretion of the Promoter. (k) If the Entrant does not answer their phone as above, their phone is turned off, engaged, the phone line drops out, they are inaudible or they are unreachable for any reason (including without limitation any technical or operator error), the Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) select another Entrant and so on until another entrant is available and prizing will be awarded to their nominated person, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. (m) The Station may use the entrants and their stories live on air in connection with the Promotion over the specified Competition Period. During the competition period: (n) The station will select a total of up to one hundred [100] entries over the contesting period to have a chance to contest in CRUISE 1323’s Bring the Sing. (o) Over the campaign period and in-show (on weekdays from Monday 26th February – Thursday 4th April 2024; subject to change at promoter discretion) Cruise1323 will select one [1] registered entrant to play Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing per day. They will forfeit the their chance to contest and Cruise1323 will call the next contestant/s. The Promoter reserves the right to pre-record a contesting segment. (q) If the promoter answers an entrants call on 08 8305 1323 and the entrant is unable to participate in the challenge, they will forfeit their spot and the promoter select another entrant in its absolute discretion. (r) A person that is put to air, or determined as an on air prize winner cannot pass the telephone call on to anyone else, and should this occur, any person that is on air or has been passed the phone in this capacity will not be eligible for a prize, at the discretion of the Promoter. (s) Entrants may be required to go through an eligibility checklist off air (at the absolute discretion of the Promoter) as noted in the entry restrictions. If the entrant who successfully calls does not meet the eligibility requirements, they will be not go through to Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing. (t) At any time during contesting the announcer(s) may give the entrant additional challenges or bribes. Examples including, but not limited to: A bonus round/double or nothing. (u) Rules will be stipulated on air by the Promoter, at its absolute discretion. (v) The opening and closing time for calls to be received will be at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. (w) The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. (x) The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refrain from broadcasting any call. Other Entry At various times across the Competition Period the Promoter at its absolute discretion may open alternative forms of entry. This may include but is not limited to entries via the [Station website, at live events, via the Promoter’s representatives and street team, via station SMS text]. The Promoter will specify the specific mechanic and rules for entry and selection either online, on air, in person (for street team activities), or via social media (as applicable). 10. (c) Only one entry from each household can be deemed a winner throughout the competition period. 11. Challenge Details (a) At various times throughout the competition period, listeners will be given the cue to call or visit the station website to enter their details for selection to play in Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing. (b) Throughout the competition, at various times during weekdays (excluding Public Holidays) between 9:00AM and 5:00PM ACDT, the promoter in its absolute discretion will select a contestant to play Cruise1323’s Bring the Sing. (c) The Promoter will select a song to be played on air. The songs starting point and song selected is at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. (d) At a point decided by the Promoter, the song will stop. The Challenger will then have to finish the lyrics to the final sentence played before the song stopped. (e) If the entrant correctly speaks or sings the missing words (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), they will be deemed a minor prize winner and placed on the short list to win the major prize. (f) If the entrant correctly speaks or sings the missing words correctly, the entrant will then be asked ‘what are you looking forward to the most’ about the Cruise, if you won. (g) If the caller does not correctly speak or sings the missing words (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), they will be deemed unsuccessful and the contesting spot will end. (h) Should the caller refuse or fail to satisfactorily complete the challenge within the time specified, they will forgo any prize and the Station will not be required to conduct the challenge again. (i) The Promoter will send an SMS to all successful shortlisted entrants requiring them to enter or verify their personal details. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that this is completed. Failure to complete the required information will forfeit their chance to win the Major Prize. (j) Entrants may be required to go through an eligibility checklist off air (at the absolute discretion of the Promoter) as noted in the entry restrictions. If the entrant who successfully calls does not meet the eligibility requirements, they will not receive a spot on the shortlist to win the Major Prize. GST). • Return flights from Adelaide to Sydney for two on dates specified by the Promoter, booked via Phil Hoffmann Travel, valued up to $2,500.00 AUD (inc. GST). The Flashback Ultimate Party Cruise 2024 will depart from the Circular Quay Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on Wednesday the 30 October 2024 and return to back at Circular Quay Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on Thursday the 7th of November 2024 for passenger disembarkation. Any cabin upgrades or changes will incur fees not covered by the prize. Additional spending money, any accommodation outside of the cruise, specialty restaurant meals, taxes, luggage costs, shore excursions, items of a personal nature which includes but not limited to duty free gifts, merchandise additional onboard luxury items i.e. shopping/photography/spa services etc, insurance and all other ancillary costs are not included, and are at the winner’s expense.
