MESSAGE TO THE AUSTRALIAN PENSIONERS

The federal government is sending every one a $1400 Christmas BONUS to help the economy.

If we spend that money at K-Mart, the money will go to China.

If we spend it on petrol it will go to the Arabs, if we purchase a computer it will go to Taiwan,

If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala,

If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan,

If we purchase useless c**p it will go to Korea and none of it will help the Australian economy.

The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on beer and booze, since these are the only product still produced in Australia .

I am not receiving the bonus.  I am studying, trying to get a job, yet, because of my husband's income, have been advised by a Centrelink employees today that it is unlikely that I will be eligible to receive any Centrelink assistance. :( :( :( Personally, I think that herein lies the joke!
