This year marks the 50th anniversary of Joseph Heller's classic war-time novel, Catch-22 and we're taking a look at some other anniversaries that occur this year - including the 100 year publication anniversary of Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden.

So what is it about a book that makes it stand the test of time?  What current novels will remain popular in 50, 100 or even 200 years?  Tell us what you thinks makes a Classic novel in 100 words or less to go into the draw to win September's Book of the Month.
