WIN a MotoGP prize pack!
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. The Promoter is Geelong Advertiser Proprietary Limited 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong Vic 3220. ABN. 59004090055.
4. The competition commences at 12.01am AEST on 16/10/2012.
5. Entries close at midnight AEST on 21/10/2012.
6. To enter the competition, entrants must visit geelongadvertiser.com.au and enter the required details and the code word 'MOTORCYCLE' which appears inside the Geelong Advertiser Tuesday 16 October, Thursday 18 October and Friday 19 October 2012.
7. Entries can be made by Australian residents aged 16 years and over. Entries under the age of 16 will require parental consent to enter.
8. The promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries sent but not received.
9. This is a competition of chance. The winning entry will be the first randomly selected entry with the correct answer.
10. There will be one prize draw which will take place on 22/10/2012 at 11am AEST at the Geelong Advertiser office, 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong through a random draw from those that have entered.
11. There is one prize on offer, being: -
- Four (4) x Sunday general admission tickets to the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (the Event).
- Catch a Coach transport Geelong to Phillip Island return for four people returning on Sunday 28 October 2012.
- Signed picture of Jorge Lorenzo.
12. Coach departs Geelong Bus Terminal, Brougham Street for Phillip Island Circuit at 6.00am Sunday 28 October. Final Coach will depart Phillip Island Circuit from Gate 3 at 6.00pm Sunday 28 October to return to Geelong Bus Terminal.
13. The winner and their companions agree to be bound by the conditions of entry to the Event which are available at
www.motogp.com.au at entrances to the Event.
14. The winner is responsible for all other costs and expenses associated with the prize.
15. Total prize pool value $556.
16. The winner will be notified in writing within two days from the date of the draw.
17. The winner may then be required to visit the Geelong Advertiser at 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong with personal identification to verify himself or herself and collect the prize. Office hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
18. Judge's decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
19. By entering competitions, entrants give permission for their names to be published inside a Geelong Advertiser Group product if a prize is won.
20. When requested, winners will make themselves available for photographs that may be published for publicity purposes.
21. Staff and immediate families of the Geelong Advertiser Group, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
22. The Promoter and AGPC accept no responsibility for any variation in the value or make-up of the prizes or any event that occurs that is beyond the Promoters control. The Promoter and AGPC will not be responsible in circumstances where the Event is cancelled or the Event dates are re-scheduled for any reason, other than as set out in the Conditions of Sale of tickets to the Event (available at
www.motogp.com.au). If the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter will endeavour but is not obliged to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value, subject to approval from regulatory authorities. The winner also acknowledges that the prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions. All prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process.
24. All entries will become the Promoter's property and entrants agree that the Promoter may make copies of or publish their entry in any form or media. Entrants warrant that their entry is not, and its use by the Promoter will not be, in breach of any person�s intellectual property rights or any other rights.
25. The Promoter and AGPC shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of participating or taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
26. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
27. Disclosure Statement: The Promoter collects your personal information to assist us in providing the goods or services you have requested, to process your competition entries, and to improve our products and services. We or any of our Australian related companies may be in touch by any means (including email or SMS) to let you know about goods, services, or promotions which may be of interest to you.
