As part of the renovation, two new Gold Class cinema auditoriums will be created..

Two new Vmax theatres have already been rolled out.
An Event Cinemas spokeswoman said the changes would provide cinema-goers with improved services that better reflect the contemporary feel of the new shopping centre.

By entering the VMAX Event Carindale Cinemas promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions for entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 entry is open to all residents currently residing in Greater Brisbane including Ipswich, Logan & the Moreton Bay Region (ie at the time they enter the competition).
2.2 Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of Nationwide News Pty Ltd trading as Quest Community Newspapers, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on October 18, 2012 at 7am AEST and closes on October 25, 2012 at 9am AEST (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 To enter the competition, readers must go to the competition section at
www.couriermail.com.au/questnews or mail entry and enter all applicable details.
3.3 To enter the competition via any online entry or mail, readers must provide the following information without limitation including.

3.4 The time of an online entry will, in each case, be the time that the entry is recorded by the News Queensland servers.
3.5 The Promoter, its agents, affiliates or representatives will not be liable for any lost, late or misdirected entries.

4. HOW TO WIN

4.1 Each entrant who has validly entered over the Competition Period will be entered into the prize draw. All draws will take place at Quest Community Newspapers, Cnr Campbell and Mayne Streets, Bowen Hills Qld 4006 on October 25, 2012 at 10am.
4.2 The prize winner/s will be notified by phone call or mail.
4.3 The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result.
4. Entries which do not comply with these terms and conditions will not be considered valid and will not be eligible to win.
4.5 The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winners provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bills) in order to claim the prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. 4.6 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
5. PRIZES

Tickets must be taken as offered and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash. Profiteering from the tickets is a breach of supply and action may be taken if misused.
The prize and tickets, as agreed, are provided by Event Cinemas for the express use of the promotion outlined herein and cannot, by the media outlet with whom this agreement is reached, be on-sold or leveraged for any partnering, including third-party sponsor credits, not outlined in this agreement or altered in any way without the prior consent of Event Cinemas
5.1 The prize is not exchangeable or transferable. Any additional charges are the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
5.2 If the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoters will endeavour but are not obliged to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or any of the equipment or programming associated with, or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition, including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
6.2 If for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to any written directions given under State Legislation.
