WIN EYE IN THE SKY MOVIE TICKETS

Helen Mirren as Colone Katherine Powell in the British thriller Eye in the SkyRACV members have the chance to win one of 20 x in-season double passes ($40 each) to see the taut new thriller Eye in the Sky.

Starring Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman, Aaron Paul and Barkhad Abdi, Eye in the Sky delves into the shadowy world of drone warfare.

The film follows Colonel Katherine Powell (Mirren), a UK military intelligence officer in command of a top-secret operation to capture terrorists in Kenya. When Powell learns the terrorists are about to embark on a deadly suicide mission, the operation escalates from “capture” to “kill”. American drone pilot Steve Watts (Paul) is poised to engage when, suddenly, a nine-year-old girl enters the strike zone. As the military’s man-on-the-ground attempts to infiltrate enemy territory and remove the girl from harm’s way, the impossible decision of when to strike gets passed up the chain of politicians and lawyers as the seconds tick down.

Moving at a heart-racing pace, Eye in the Sky deftly explores the ethical conundrum of collateral damage; should one innocent life be sacrificed to save hundreds more? With nuanced performances, the exceptional cast deliver characters that inhabit a place of moral ambiguity within this high-stakes world of modern warfare.

Eye in the Sky opens in cinemas from 24 March.
