Terms & Conditions of Entry
Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter's associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Standard Time ("AEST") on Monday 20th August 2012 & closes at 11:59am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time ("AEDST") on Wednesday 31st October 2012 ("Promotion Period")
Entry in the promotion requires an Eligible Purchase of any two products in a single transaction from any of the following product ranges:
a. LUCKY DOG Dog Food (dry dog food)
b. SUPERCOAT Dog or Cat Food (wet & dry dog food and dry cat food)
c. FRISKIES Cat Food (dry cat food)
Simply make an Eligible Purchase from a participating IGA, supaBARN, Foodland or LaManna supermarket where the promotion is advertised and displayed then choose the way you would like to send your entry:
a. Mail – complete the entry form found in-store, attach the original purchase receipt showing the Eligible Purchase and send to: "Win Your Share in $20,000 Promotion", PO Box 502, Eastern Suburbs MC NSW 2004; or
b. Online – go to
www.purina.com.au/winyourshare and follow the prompts to submit your entry including details of your Eligible Purchase, receipt details and Purina Pet Survey questions. (Keep the original purchase receipt showing an Eligible Purchase for every entry made safe until after the prize draw in case you are asked to validate every entry you made during the Promotion Period in order to claim a prize).
Entry is limited to once per Eligible Purchase. Online Entry is further limited to no more than once per calendar day per residential address ("Household"). Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid.
The Promoter reserves the right to require an entrant to provide the proof that every entry they made was valid before awarding a prize. Further, any winner may be required by the Promoter to present the original purchase receipt showing the Eligible Purchase for every entry made by their Household, including non-winning entries. The Promoter retains the absolute discretion to require any entrant, (including groups of entrants in the same Household), to provide proof of residency at the Household address shown on their entry before awarding a prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs or for making multiple entries that are not associated with a separate Eligible Purchase, or for submitting an entry which is not otherwise in accordance with these conditions of entry.
In the case that the Promoter finds evidence of tampering by the entrant in the entry process or the verification process, in addition to declaring any or all entries made by the entrant invalid, the Promoter may in its complete discretion preclude that entrant from participation in any or all future promotions of the Promoter.
All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the prize draw.
The prize is $1,000 which will be delivered to the winner in the form of a cheque made payable to their name. There are a total of 20 prizes to be awarded.
The prize draw will be conducted at 1pm on Friday 9th November 2012 at Unit 6, 106 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale NSW 2100. The first 20 valid entries drawn will each win the prize.
All winners will be notified in writing and by phone within 48 hours of the prize draw. The name and postcode of each winner will appear in The Australian on Friday 16th November 2012 and also at
www.purina.com.au/promotions by that date.
Total prize pool is valued at $20,000.
Prize is not transferable & cannot be taken as cash.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original draw on Friday 6 July 2012 to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority. The first valid entry drawn will win the unclaimed prize and the draw will continue until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner of such a draw will have their name and postcode published in The Australian on Friday 13 July 2012 and will also appear at
www.purina.com.au/promotions by that date.
Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Nestlé Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting
www.nestle.com.au or calling 1800 005 510. An entrant's details may only be used to contact the entrant about the Promoter, its related companies, their brands, special offers, samples, consumer research and other promotions if the entrant consents to that use, for example by ticking an "opt in" box on an entry form.
Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If a prize remains unclaimed by Friday 8th February 2013 despite the Promoter's best efforts to contact a winner, then subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original draw on that date to distribute any unclaimed prizes. The first valid entry drawn from the participating supermarket where a prize remains unclaimed will win the unclaimed prize and the draw will continue until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner in such a draw will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the draw and their name and postcode will be published in The Australian on Friday 15th February 2013 and also at
www.purina.com.au/promotions by that date.
Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and each winner should allow 28 days from the prize draw for delivery of their prize.
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
