1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Brisbane, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate friends and families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences Thursday 2nd December 2021 at 18:00 AEDT and concludes on Tuesday
14th December 2021 at 23:59 AEDT (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 For entry details, viewers must watch 7NEWS Sydney (“the Program”) at 6pm on the Seven Network
(“the Network”) during the Competition Period from Thursday 2nd December 2021 to Tuesday 14th December 2021. There will be a competition segment featured during the Program (or any replacement program broadcast in the 7NEWS timeslot) throughout the competition period, which will display information on how to enter.
3.3 COMPETITION ENTRY: In order participate in the Competition, viewers must:
• Head to 7NEWS.com.au/4KQChristmas;
• Select their one (1) favourite Christmas lights image from the twelve (12) featured on the page;
• Complete all required fields in the competition entry form.
3.4 Entries that meet the requirements of clauses 3.3 and adhere to these Terms and Conditions will be
deemed a valid entry (“valid entry”). Each valid entry will be counted as one (1) valid vote for the
Christmas lights image selected in that entry.
3.5 Entries/votes are limited to one (1) per person per day throughout the competition period.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be One (1) Prize for the individual that receives the highest number of votes out of the
Twelve (12) Christmas lights images (“Voting Prize”), and One (1) Prize awarded to an individual, selected by random electronic prize draw, who submitted a valid entry/vote during the competition (“Participation Prize”).
4.2 VOTING PRIZE
There will be One (1) Prize Winner from the Twelve (12) Christmas Lights images featured on the competition web page. This will be the individual who submitted the image that receives the most votes over the competition period. The winner will receive the prize detailed below:

Total maximum prize pool value (including both the voting and participation prize) is $2,000.00 (including GST). Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 Prize Winners will be contacted by Ansible Pty Ltd on behalf of Seven Network, via e-mail and phone call, to notify them of their prize, provide prize details and collect details required for prize fulfillment.
4.4 Once the prize is accepted, the Winners must deal directly with Ansible Pty Ltd as distributer of the prizing. Any questions regarding prize fulfillment must be directed to Ansible Pty Ltd.
4.5 Due to corporate office closures over the holiday period, prize fulfillment may commence from Tuesday 4th January 2022. After this date, and once Ansible Pty Ltd have confirmed all details required for prize fulfillment with prize winners, prize money EFT transfers will be conducted within fifteen (15) working days.
4.6 In accepting their prize, the winners agree to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.7 The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.8 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.9 In the event that an element of the prize outlined in the above is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a similar product of equal or greater value, subject to state regulations.
4.10 The winners may be required to provide valid identification to Ansible Pty Ltd.
4.11 The Promoter may require prize winners to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in the form
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.12 The Promoter may vary these terms and conditions at its discretion, subject to state government
legislation
4.13 The prizes are not exchangeable.
6. HOW TO WIN
6.1 There will be One (1) Voting Prize Winner who receives the highest number of votes out of the
Twelve (12) Christmas Lights images featured on the competition page, who will win the Voting Prize detailed in clause 4.2. This is determined solely by Public Voting and is not a game of chance or game of skill.
6.2 There will be One (1) Participation Prize Winner drawn at random from all valid entries/votes received during the competition period, who will win the Voting Prize detailed in clause 4.2. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
6.3 Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions during the Competition Period (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the participation prize draw. Entries that do not comply with any of the terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a re-draw will be conducted in its place.
6.4 The participation prize draw will take place on Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 10:30 AEDT at Ansible Pty Ltd, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010.
6.5 In the event of an unclaimed prize, an unclaimed prize draw will take place Ansible Pty Ltd, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010 on Wednesday 16th March 2022 at 10:30 AEDT and the new
winner will be notified by email and phone call. The unclaimed prize winner’s details will be on the
7News website within five (5) working days of the unclaimed prize draw.
6.6 Both the voting winner and participation winner will be notified by email and phone call from Ansible
Pty Ltd within five (5) days of winner determination. All winners will be published on the 7NEWS
website within five (5) working days of the competition close.
6.7 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the
result.
6.8 In the event of a voting tie, the Promoter will determine the final winner in its absolute discretion.
6.9 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being
notified or a winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, an additional draw will be conducted.
6.10 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
7. NO LIABILITY
7.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, COVID 19, pandemic, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
7.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
7.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of the prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any
material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other
entrants or any other person; or
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines
or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
7.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd and its associated agencies and companies
assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
7.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
