Christmas Worlds 2022 Christmas Lights Competition – Win $2,000!
Here’s your chance to get into the Christmas Spirit with Christmas Worlds Christmas Lights Competition.
To enter, decorate your home Christmas style, take a photo of your home, either inside or outside (or both), and upload your photo to our competition page

Public voting will commence on Dec 1 and conclude on Dec 19. There will be two winners chosen and two prizes awarded. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, on the Christmas World Facebook competition page here and both winners will be contacted directly to receive their prize.
First prize is $2,000 cash, and the second prize is $500 cash.
The competition will be judged as follows:
Judges will review all entries and look for creative Christmas decorations, lots of colour and lots of Christmas Festive Style. There will be three judges who are Christmas World staff and professionals when it comes to decorating everything Christmas! Between the Judges they will all agree on the First Prize Winner, who will be awarded $2,000 in cash.
The second prize will be chosen by the photo entry that receives the most votes on the Christmas World Competition page on Facebook here, the second prize is $500 cash. The cash prizes will be awarded as a prepaid Visa Card loaded with $2000 to spend for first prize and the second prize will be awarded as a prepaid visa card loaded with $500 to spend.
You can decorate the outside or inside of your home and choose to upload what you deem would be your best decorations to be judged!

Christmas Lights Competition Terms & Conditions
The Promoter is Christmas World PTY LTD, ABN 33 146 336 512. 23 Victoria Ave, Castle Hill NSW 2154. T 1300 009 627 christmasworld.com.au
All Australian residents aged 18 years of age or older (Participant) are eligible for the Competition.
Public voting will commence on Dec 1 and conclude on Dec 19.
The following person(s) are ineligible to enter the Competition:
employees of:
the Promoter; and
the Promoter’s related bodies corporate (as that expression is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) and associated agencies, companies and contractors; or
members of the Immediate Families of the employees referred to at paragraph 3(a).
3a. Immediate family means any of: a spouse or domestic partner, ex- spouse or ex-domestic partner, de-facto spouse or ex-de-facto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin.
The Competition commences at 9am (AEDT) on 14/11/22 and closes at midnight (AEDT) on 19/12/222 (Competition Period).

For the Participant to be eligible to compete in the Competition, each of the following must be satisfied. The Participant must enter the Competition:
within the Competition Period;
in the strict manner specified on the entry form for the Competition; and
by the method specified in paragraph 5 above.
The winners will receive the following:
1st Place: $2,000 in cash
2nd Place: $500 in cash
The cash prizes will be awarded as a prepaid Visa Card loaded with $2000 to spend for first prize and the second prize will be awarded as a prepaid visa card loaded with $500 to spend.
5a. Photo entries uploaded after Dec 1, 2022 will be placed into the voting photo album on Christmas Worlds Facebook as soon as possible, within 5 days where possible or earlier to allow people to vote. The promoter takes no responsibility if there is a delay of the entrants photo not being uploaded within this time frame, or uploaded at all.
Judging will take place on 20/12/22 and the winners will be notified via Facebook on 21/12/22 and shared on the Christmas World Facebook page and Facebook Competition pages. Photos may be also shared on the Christmas World website and on any marketing materials online or offline. The photos become the property of Christmas World once uploaded by the entrant and Christmas World may use any photos for marketing purposes. The entrant of course can use their own photo as well for anything.
Winners must claim their prizes by contacting Christmas World by 4pm on Jan 15, 2022 or by email at
support@christmasworld.com.au or by messenger via Facebook or by calling Christmas world on 1300 009 627. Christmas World will contact the winner direct via Facebook messenger.
A judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:
contains material considered by the Promoter to be inappropriate or offensive; or
was submitted in a manner considered by the Promoter to be inappropriate, which may include, but is not limited to, actions relating to computer hacking, breach of copyright or other intellectual property rights and actions that breach any relevant laws.
At the time of collecting the prize the winner will be required to confirm their identity by producing such photo identification as may be directed by the Promoter.
By entering into the Competition, the Participant is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights which the Participant may have under any law (including the Australian Consumer Law) which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement (‘Your Consumer Rights’). Subject to Your Consumer Rights, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage however caused (including by negligence), suffered or incurred in connection with the Competition or any prize. Any condition or warranty which would be implied by law into these terms and conditions is excluded.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the entrants’ names and addresses may be used as detailed in the privacy collection statement which accompanies these terms and conditions.
If the winner/s have been contacted and do not collect their prize by 4pm on Feb 15, 2023, the promotor reserves the right to select a new winner by judging the entries again and choosing the winner for first prize and choosing the photo that has the second most votes for second prize on Feb 20, 2023, 5pm AEST.
