Santa’s Scan & Win - Terms and Conditions
All information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions
of entry. These terms and conditions exist in conjunction with the terms and conditions of
the prize supplier. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and
conditions and the prize supplier’s terms and conditions.
This competition is run by Mount Sheridan Plaza (the Promoter) 106 Barnard Drive, Mt
Sheridan 4868 QLD ABN No. 68 266 146 096.
PROMOTION DURATION: December 12-23 December 2022
ENTRY:
1. Entry is open to residents of the Cairns Region from Atherton, to Port Douglas to
Cardwell and all postcodes in-between aged 16 or over.1. Employees and Retailers of Mount Sheridan Plaza and immediate families are
ineligible to enter. (“Immediate family member” means any parent, spouse, sibling,
child, defacto and/or any other family member residing at the same address as that
person.)
2. To enter, persons are required to scan the QR code on promotional assets and add
their own true and accurate information on the online form and select the prize they
wish to win.
3. Eligible persons can enter ONCE per day during the promotional period. Proof of
spend is not required.
PRIZE INFORMATION:
10 winners will share in the total prize pool valued at approximately $5000.

GENERAL TERMS:
1. There will be 10 winners in total with 1 winner daily from December 12 -December
23, 2022, excluding weekends. Prizes and winners are chosen at random via a
random number generator.
2. Winners will be notified via phone and will have up to 2 weeks upon notification of
winning to collect their prize from Centre Management.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of
the entrant. The winner is to provide photo ID on collection of the prize and must
sign a prize form. Once the prize form is signed and prize collected.
4. The Promoter reserves the right at any time to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter reasonably believes has breached any of the terms and conditions or
engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct, calculated to jeopardise the fair
and proper conduct of the competition.
5. The Promoter decision is final and conclusive and no comment or correspondence
will be entered into.
6. Any issues with the prize must be directed to the prize supplier. Mount Sheridan
Plaza can provide this information upon request, however in some cases prize
paperwork/receipts will be supplied upon collection of prize.
7. Prizes are not transferable or refundable, not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
8. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury,
damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons
or property, as a result of any person entering into the competition or accepting or
using any prize.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the competition at any stage
without notifying any entrants for any reason. If any circumstances out of The
Promoter’s control mean that the competition prize advertised is not available, The
Promoter reserves the right to (without prior notice): (a) cancel the promotion; and
or (b) substitute the competition prize for another amount of less value.
10. All entries and subsequent information become the property of the Promoter will be
used in accordance with the Privacy Act, and you consent to us using the information
given on entries form for the purposes of the general administration and for
promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending
electronic messages, marketing communications (newsletter), or telephoning the
entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update, remove, or correct
information to the Promoter.
11. Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish
winners names on social media and the winner must make himself/herself available
for a photo with their prize if required. Photos may be used for publicity purposes
without compensation to the winner.
