Laminex – $10K Giveaway – Terms & Conditions
Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions: 1. The Promoter is THE
TRUSTEE FOR THE NATIONAL BUILDING SUPPLIERS GROUP UNIT TRUST (Natbuild) ABN 44 592 721 017, of Level
1, Unit 4, Omnico Business Centre Monash, 270 Ferntree Gully Rd Notting Hill Victoria 3168 on behalf of Laminex

2. Laminex – The Great wall of prizes (Promotion) will commence at 6.00am AEST on 1 October 2023 and will
close at 11:59pm AEDT on 30th November 2023. The promotion is open to Australian residents in all eligible
states/territories who are members of Natbuild, fulfil the method of entry requirements and are 18 years of age
or older.
3. Participation and redemption of the prize in any and all components of the ‘Laminex – $10K Giveaway’
package is conditional on the participants being members of Natbuild as at November 30th
, 2023.
4. The total prize pool is $43,000 as outlined below:
• Two (2) x $10,000 voucher prizes (choice of $10,000 VISA gift card, $10,000 Flight Centre Travel voucher
or $10,000 Harvey Norman voucher) awarded to Builder Customers as per a random prize draw as
explained below, totalling $20,000.
• Four (4) x $5,000 trip prizes awarded to two (2) member companies associated with the winning builder
customers, totalling $20,000
• Two (2) x $1,500 pre-paid credit card prizes awarded to the two (2) member Sales Representatives
associated with the winning builder customers, totalling $3,000.
4.1 Builder customers will enter a prize draw and will earn one entry per sheet of Surround by Laminex
purchased. Builder customers will earn double entries for Contemporary profile sheet(s) purchased*. Builder
customers must purchase a minimum of 1 sheet to earn any entry into the draw. *Contemporary profiles
include any Scallop, Batten, French Stripe, Demi Round or VJ200 products.
4.2 Two (2) entries will be drawn at random. The two (2) winning Builder Customers will each choose one (1)
from the following prizes, worth $10,000 each; $10,000 VISA gift card, $10,000 Flight Centre Travel voucher or
$10,000 Harvey Norman voucher. In the event the builder’s chosen prize is not available, another option of the
same value will be offered.
4.3 The draw will take place at Natbuild Head Office Level 1, Unit 4, Omnico Business Centre Monash, 270
Ferntree Gully Rd Notting Hill Victoria on December 4th at 10.00am AEDT in the presence of an independent
scrutineer using randomdraws.com.au. The winners will be notified on December 4th
, 2023 via telephone and
email and published on
www.tradenet.natbuild.com.au by December 6th 2023.
4.4 The Natbuild member companies associated with the two (2) winning builders will win two (2) tickets each to
a 3-night trip to the Sunshine Coast from March 18th to March 21st 2024* including a visit to Laminex’s Gympie
site, valued up to $5,000 per person. 1 ticket must be awarded to the principal and the second ticket to be
awarded to a senior member of staff of the principal’s choice. In the event the principal cannot attend, an
alternative representative must be authorised by Natbuild in writing. * Subject to flight & accommodation
availability.
4.5 It is a condition of taking the Trip Prize that each traveller will be required to have current travel insurance
and must provide proof upon request of the Promoter.
4.6 The trip prize includes economy return flights, from the members’ point of origin (exceptions apply to some
locations and other arrangements will be made to transfer to alternative airports) arriving to Sunshine Coast
and departing Brisbane (approximate value up to $1,500), transfers, 3 night’s accommodation, all main meals
and unique experiences (valued up to $3,500). Total value of prize is up to $5,000 per person.
4.7 The two (2) Natbuild Member Sales Representatives associated with the two (2) winning builder customers
will be awarded a $1,500 pre-paid credit card each.
5. The winning Builder’s trade account must be paid up to date to be eligible to be awarded with the prize. In the
event the winning builder’s payment are overdue, the prize will be re-drawn.
6. If Natbuild receives notification of a member resignation prior to the prize date, the Member will
automatically be excluded. This ticket will be offered to the next eligible member. The decision made by
Natbuild management is final.
7. In the event the prize is not claimed by 9:00am AEDT January 8th , 2024, the prize will be redrawn at Natbuild:
Level 1, Unit 4, Omnico Business Centre Monash, 270 Ferntree Gully Rd Notting Hill Victoria 3168 on January 8th ,
2024 at 10.00am AEDT. The winners will be notified on January 10th via telephone and email and published on
www.tradenet.natbuild.com.au by January 10th , 2024.
8. Participants who attend the ‘prize’ are responsible for all costs not expressly included as part of the ‘Prize’ and
any deviation to the group flight routing, dates or class of travel. Participants are therefore responsible for costs
such as transport costs to and from the domestic departure/return point, meals and beverages not expressly
provided for as part of the nominated accommodation or a meal function arranged by Natbuild, any ancillary
hotel costs such as any additional accommodation, mini bar, telephone calls, internet charges, laundry etc.
9. All prizes must be taken as offered. The reward, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or
exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize
value. Natbuild will not be liable other than expressly provided in these terms and conditions for the refund of
any costs incurred by a participant if a participant is unable to travel. Any changes to the Supplier
Representative after the RSVP date will incur change and transfer fees. You (the Supplier) will be liable for any
fees incurred.
10. Where the prize is awarded as a voucher/pass/ ticket, the Promoter will not be liable for any
voucher/pass/ticket that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in anyway. The Promoter is
not responsible for resolution of any disputes regarding the distribution of any voucher/pass/ticket. Redemption
of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the provider of the voucher/pass/ticket.
11. Participants who attend the ‘prize’ consent to the Promoter using the participant’s name, likeness, image
and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period
without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this program including any outcome.
12. If this promotion or the event is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as
reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, subject to regulatory approval, to the fullest extent permitted by law to
modify, suspend, postpone, change the location of, or cancel the promotion or event, as appropriate without
liability.
13. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and
agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss
of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion,
including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment
malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party
interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any
variation to the prize stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant;
or (f) use of a prize.
14. The Promoter is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect in operation or
transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries
occurring in relation to the conduct of the Promotion. Additionally, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for
any message not received by the promoter or delays in the delivery of the message due to technical disruptions
or for any other reason (including, without limitation, any failure or delay by a carriage service provider in
delivery of any message sent in relation to the Promotion).
15. Definitions:
Builder customer: A builder customer is defined as a customer of a Natbuild Member Company with an active
trade account.
Natbuild members: A Natbuild Member is defined as a current member company of Natbuild. A full list of
members can be found on natbuild.com.au.
Natbuild Member Sales Representatives: A member sales representative is defined as the employee responsible
for winning builder customer. In the case where there is not applicable, the winning member sales
representative will be the employee who entered the sale that lead to the winning entry into the draw.
