Following the film’s world premiere at the 2024 Mardi Gras Film Festival earlier this year, Luna Cinemas is delighted to present the first screening of In the Room Where He Waits in Perth this weekend.

In the Room Where He Waits follows theatre actor Tobin who returns to Australia in the lead-up to his father’s funeral, where he must isolate in a hotel room for seven days. Merging this recognisable pandemic-era backdrop with a pinch of the supernatural, In the Room Where He Waits is an intimate, claustrophobic tale of grief and abandonment while in lockdown.

This chilling psychological thriller marks an exciting feature debut for up-and-coming Australian director Timothy Desphina Marshall who also wrote the film.

We are thrilled to have six double passes to give away to the special media screening of In the Room Where He Waits this Saturday, June 1 at 11am (arrival 10.30am) at Luna Leederville.
