TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The “Promoter” of the CMC Rocks QLD Competition 2025 (the “Competition”) is the Ipswich City
Council (“the Promoter”).
2. Entry to the Competition is open to people over the age of 18 years old. An entrant to the Competition must be an individual and not a company or organisation. Employees of the Promoter or any person associated with the Competition, or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
3. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may at their discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
4. Entries not made in accordance with these entry Terms and Conditions will be held invalid and will not be considered. The Competition opens at 10am on Monday 4 November 2024 and closes at 10am on Friday 29 November 2024 (“Competition Period”).
5. Any entry received after the closure of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid and will not be considered. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for late, lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
6. Any Information on how to enter the Competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
7. Each individual entrant may only submit one (1) Competition entry. All entries must be made online,
on the Discover Ipswich website. To be eligible entrants must complete all required fields.
8. By entering the Competition entrants agree to indemnify and release the Promoter in respect of any judgement, action, or liability for all loss, damage, injury (to persons or property), and costs (including legal costs) arising out of or in connection with the entrant’s participation in the Competition and/or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Entrants must not engage in any unlawful conduct, or any misconduct which is calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct, and the integrity of the Competition.
10. Only one winner for the grand prize will be chosen. The Promoter will choose the winner by way of a random draw at 10.30am on Friday 29 November 2024. The result of the random draw is final and no correspondence and/or communication of any kind in relation to the result will be entered into. The Promoter is under no obligation to award any prize for the competition.
11. Any prize awarded for winning the Competition is at the Promoter’s discretion, and is non-negotiable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other prizes.
12. The winner of the grand prize will receive:
a. Two (2) x Full Festival Tickets to attend CMC Rocks QLD festival from Friday 21 March 2025 to
Sunday 23 March 2025, at Willowbank Raceway (value $878.00) and two (2) x VIP Bar Upgrade Tickets (minimum value $500.00), one (1) x medium campsite with extras at The Inn (value $995.00), one (1) x $25.00 food voucher for each person x three (3) days (value $150.00)
b. A money-can’t-buy meet and greet with an artist from the 2025 line up.
c. Two Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Vouchers (value $990).
d. Total value (minimum) = $3513.00 plus the money-can’t-buy component.
e. This prize does not include travel to and from Willowbank Raceway, or any other costs
incurred by the winner.
f. The meet and greet component of the prize will be subject to artist availability and may be
subject to change or withdrawn due to unforeseen circumstances and no cash or alternative
prize will be awarded in lieu of this element of the prize.
g. The Inn medium campsite fits a maximum of two people and there is parking for one car in a
separate car park area for The Inn. The site size is 2.7m x 5.1m, there is no power or water to the site. A tent with single stretcher beds (or double on request), camp mats and a LED Lantern will be set up before arrival at the campground. The prize winner is required to bring their own bed linen and camping essentials.
h. CMC Rocks QLD 2025 Festival Terms and Conditions must be adhered to attend the festival and by accepting tickets Entrants agree to be bound to their terms. They can be viewed here:

13. CMC Rocks QLD 2025 tickets, campsite or other prize components may not, without the prior written consent of CMC Rocks Pty Ltd, be re-sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, charity fundraising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including but not limited to competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the winner/s or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
14. Ipswich City Council (Council) is collecting your personal information for the purposes of conducting the Competition. Council will not disclose your personal information outside of Council unless we are required to do so by law, or you have given your consent. However, to enable the Promoter to administer, judge and promote the Competition your personal information may be recorded and/or disclosed; for instance, your name may be disclosed in a publication or at an event for the purpose of giving notice of Competition winners/entrants. By completing an entry form we will consider that you have given the Promoter your consent to manage your personal information in the manner described in Council’s Privacy Statement, Personal Information Digest, and this Collection Notice:
