Was waiting for more details but can't contain myself any longer....... Hubby got a call and email yesterday and we have won a trip to Chamonix in France for the end of the month....yes that's right FRANCE!!!!! It was this comp.... http://compingclub.com/index.php?topic=126390.0Prize package includes Return flights for two adults to one of the six below locations from nearest capital city in Australia Return airport transfers to hotel Three nights' accommodation All meals $500 spending money per winner A Cyber-shot digital still camera, Handycam camcorder or α digital SLR camera Prize must be taken by the winners and his or her travelling companion from 21-25 September 2009 Don't know any details as yet but hopefully today!!!! We are just so excited!!!!! |

Thanks guys. We are still very excited and still waiting to hear all the details however I have organised babysitters for my kids so just need to pack and we are ready to go!!!
It was quite funny as I had ripped the comp out of the Sunday Mail a couple of weeks ago and it had been sitting in a pile of papers and we found it on the weekend and thought oooh we must enter this as is it closing on Monday at 5.30pm. As it turned out we rushed an entry in at 2.30 on Monday afternoon and well, the rest is history!!!!
We usually try and come up with witty poems and the like...this time we just went for something, we thought, was quite simple.....
With countryside thats often blanketed in white, Chamonix will display a myriad of rich autumn colours, as the shadows of the Alps fade away and twilight descends over the mountains, a unique experience exists to capture the changing colours of this bewitching arena with the magical Sony digital SLR camera.
