And now for the legal stuff – the rules.………. Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of this competition is NFP Online Pty Ltd trading as Livewire.org.au (ABN 86 123 826013), Level 2, 80 Chandos Street, St Leonards NSW 2065 (‘‘Livewire”).
2. By entering the Livewire “Win a Nintendo DSi” competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions. Information about prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions.
3. Entry is open to young people aged over 10 and under 21 years of age who are Australian residents, are eligible for the Livewire Members community and have registered at livewire.org.au within in the time periods specified in the competition terms.
4. The Livewire “Win a Nintendo DSi” competition starts on 30th May, 2010 at 3.00pm and concludes on 30th November 2010 at 3.00pm. The lucky winner’s name will be drawn on the 7th December, 2010 at 10am at the Livewire office, 80 Chandos Street, St Leonards.
5. To enter, during the competition period, entrants must log onto the Livewire website (livewire.org.au or members.livewire.org.au) and Join Livewire Members. You have registered correctly when you have clicked on the ‘Join Livewire Now’ button and followed all the required steps.
6. You may only register with Livewire Members once, so are only able to enter the competition once. Entries may be completed on your behalf by a parent or guardian.
7. All valid entries will be entered into the competition automatically. Livewire accepts no responsibility for late or lost entries.
8. Livewire may decide entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions are invalid. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will go into the pool and the first entry drawn out will win.
9. The first valid entry drawn out will win the “Nintendo DSi” (value $350). The winner will be sent their prize within 1 month of being told of their win.
10. The winner will be told within 21 days of 7th December, 2010 by email and/or by phone. The winner’s name will be posted on
http://members.livewire.org.au for at least 36 hours from the 8th December, 2010.
11. The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The prize cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash. If for any reason the prize is unavailable, Livewire reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
13. Livewire reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Livewire.
14. The winner may be requested by Livewire to participate in promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) in connection with the win and their parent or guardian consents to Livewire using the winner’s name and photograph in promotional material.
15. Livewire accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. Livewire may cancel, suspend or vary the competition if for any reason it is not capable of being conducted as planned, subject to the approval of the NSW Dept of Gaming & Racing, and ACT Gambling and Racing Commission.
17. A redraw for any unclaimed prizes will be held on 7th February, 2010.
