You could win a day in the FHM life!

Some men look forward to ageing gracefully: the greying temples, the wisdom, the stiffening joints. Others, like the characters in Grown Ups, don’t. Comedy superstars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider play the kind of 30-somethings who still understand the primordial joy of a waterslide. Sure, they’re dads, and businessmen, but a little reminiscin’ to wild times means wilder times are always around the corner.

To celebrate the release of Grown Ups on Blu-ray and DVD, we’ve put together a prize that keeps the wild times coming: you and two mates live the FHM life for a day – including being a fly on the wall of a hot shoot and coming to our cranking party – plus a year’s worth of DVDs!  FHM & SONY HOME ENTERTAINMENT GAME OF SKILL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families companies and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. To enter, entrants must log on to www.fhm.com.au/ and follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details including name, address postcode, email address, Date of Birth, gender, telephone number, and tell us in 25 word or less “What’s your favourite pastime and why?” and then submit your completed entry as instructed.
5. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6. Only one entry is permitted per person.
7. Promotion commences at 00:01 AEST on 01/11/10 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 25/11/10.
8. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the finalists or winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. The Promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises on 27/11/10 at 11:30am AEST. Finalists will be notified by phone and mail using contact details provided in their entry. Notification will take place on 28/11/10.The Promoters decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter. No correspondence will be entered into.
9. The best entry, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the winner. The winner will receive a non-transferable invitation to undertake work experience at the FHM office from 11am to 5pm on 02/01/10 and will be allowed to bring two (2) friends to join them. The winner and their nominated two (2) friends will then be allowed to attend FHM and Stoli’s Summer Mix-Up party at a venue to be disclosed at approximately 7.00pm on 02/12/10 and be required to leave at approximately 12pm (midnight). The winner will also receive one (1) years supply of Sony Home Entertainment DVDs. The arrangement of the supply of these DVDs is between the winner and Sony Entertainment. FHM has no contractual obligation in relation to the supply of the DVDs or any involvement in the details of this agreement.
10. The Promoter is not responsible for winner and their friend’s transportation to and from the venue to attend the party or any other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize. These are the responsibility of the winner. All attendees must be aged 18 years and over. Identification will be required to confirm both the identity and age of the winner and their nominated friend at the venue.
11. The total prize pool is valued at approximately $9,000.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize must be redeemed on the date specified above in order to coincide with the event. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the event is rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, relocated for any reason whatsoever. Redemption of the prize is subject to the standard business guidelines and terms and conditions of the event venue. If redemption of the prize requires that the winner and their two (2) friends provide the venue with some form of identification, then form of identification accepted by the venue is determined by the venue in its complete discretion.
13. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
14. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and their friends agree to be interviewed, photographed and filmed during their time at the FHM and Stoli’s Summer Mix-Up party for inclusion in a feature that may appear in FHM magazine and/or on the FHM/Stoli website. By accepting the prize the winners and their friends consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice and interview, including photograph, film and/or recording of the same (“Promotional Works”) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The winner and their friends agree that all copyright in Promotional Works will belong to the Promoter.
15. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
16. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
17. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including their officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the final race off event is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) participation promotion; or (h) redemption of the prize.
18. As a condition of participating in the Promotion, the winner and their friends must sign any legal documentation (including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form) as provided to them by the Promoter. Form of legal documentation will be as determined by the Promoter in its complete

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.
