The 4BH 1000 Best Songs of All Time Countdown of 2011 has been compiled by the collection of votes from our listeners combined with Brisbane chart history and our own audience research. However you’ve participated, through direct voting, participating in our research or purchasing a record at the local record bar in years past, thanks for getting involved to help put together the ultimate list of songs that have been the soundtrack to your life.
The Countdown will be presented daily 9am to 6pm (from Monday April 18) for approximately two weeks including the Easter holiday periodIn the April edition (published April 12) of ‘bmag-Brisbane’s Best Read’ with Campbell Newman on the cover and now wrapped in plastic and delivered to letterboxes, you’ll find the Countdown list printed in a double page pullout colour spread which you can keep. We’re sure it will come in handy for planning your next party, trivia games and as we play the Countdown on the radio, the highlighted in bold songs are your way to win Hoyts Movie Tickets, 4BH Essential Albums and a Heron Island Getaway for two people including flights and accommodation. That’s 5 days/4 nights of Great Barrier Reef relaxation or adventure!
