Where would you rather be? Win travel and spending money to the value of $20,000, $10,000, $5,000 plus 12 luxury weekends to be won each valued at $1250. Simply purchase 200g or more of fresh agaricus mushrooms.
To be eligible, individuals must purchase over 200g of fresh agaricus mushrooms from a supermarket or independent greengrocer in Australia between 11/11/2013 and the close of business 09/02/2014. The higher the volume and frequency of purchases, the more chances you have to win.
Major Prizes:
There are three tiers of prizes, each linked to a purchase volume.
1st prize: 400g or more of fresh agaricus mushrooms enters participates into the draw to win the $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 prize
2nd prize: 300g-399g of fresh agaricus mushrooms enters participates into the draw to win the $10,000 and $5,000 prize
3rd prize: 200g -299g of fresh agaricus mushrooms enters participates into the draw to win the $5,000 prize
Minor Prizes
There are 12 minor prizes. All eligible entries have a chance to win one of 12 minor prizes. There will be four minor prize draws between 25/11/2013 to 20/01/2014 with each minor prize draw selecting three winners who will each win a prepaid Visa Card to the value of $1250 (total value of $3750 per minor prize draw).
Definitions within this Promotion
The Promoter is Australian Mushroom Growers Association
Agaricus mushrooms are mushrooms sold as buttons, cups, flats, Swiss brown or Portabella varieties; they may be sold loose or in punnets.
Participating store means registered independent greengrocers and supermarkets in Australia.
Promotional period is 00.01 AEST on Monday 11 November, 2013 and 23.59 AEST on 9 February, 2014.
Valid receipt means an original and unaltered store-generated cash register receipt which shows the details and information required to enter the promotion and must be dated between 11/11/2013 and 09/02/2014.
Information on how to enter and a description of the prizes that may be won in this promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, agencies associated with this promotion and participating stores and their staff are ineligible to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with the terms and conditions of entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify an entry from the promotion if the entry does not comply with the Terms and Conditions.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant and exclude from the competition if deemed appropriate. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Promotion commences Monday 11 November, 2013 at 00:01AM AEST and closes Sunday 9 February, 2014 at 11.59PM AEST (the Promotion Period). The promotion is over a 12 week (84 day) period.
To be eligible to enter the promotion, participants are required to purchase fresh agaricus mushrooms from a participating store of greater than 200 grams in weight as indicated on their official store receipt. The greater the volume the higher the prize value you will be entered into.
There are three tiers of major prizes, each linked to a purchase volume:
Purchase 400g or more of fresh agaricus mushrooms in a single transaction to enter into the draw to win all prize tiers: $15,000 travel + $5,00 cash or $7,000 travel + $3,000 cash or $3,000 travel + $2,000 cash
Purchase 300g-399g of fresh agaricus mushrooms in a single transaction to enter into the draw to win the $7,000 travel + $3,000 cash or $3,000 travel + $2,000 cash prize
(c) Purchase 200g -299g of fresh agaricus mushrooms in a single transaction to enter into the draw to win the $3,000 travel + $2,000 cash prize.
All eligible entries will go in the draw for the 12 minor prizes of a $1250 Prepaid visa card.
Participants must retain their original receipt for all entries as proof of purchase. The valid receipt must clearly indicate the mushrooms purchased, the weight, the date of the purchase, the name of the store and store location.
Failure to produce the proof of purchase of all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of all the entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.

The prize winners will be determined by a random draw, conducted at 12.00pm AEST on Friday 14 February 2014 at Australian Mushroom Growers offices at 2 Forbes Street, Windsor NSW 2756.
The total prize pool is $50,000. The prize consists of Flight Centre Gift Cards, to be used as per the Flight Centre Gift Card terms and Conditions available at

The $20,000 prize will be drawn first, all eligible participants who purchased 400g or greater in a single purchase will also be eligible for the $10, 000 and $5,000 prize draws.
All eligible entries have a chance to win one of 12 minor prizes. The minor prize is a prepaid Visa Card to the value of $1250. There will be four draws between 25/11/2013 and 20/01/2014. An entrant may only be awarded one minor prize during the promotion.
The three major prize winners will be notified by phone and email on Friday 14th February, 2014 and announced on the Mushroom Lovers Club Facebook page on Thursday 20th February, 2014 between 9am-5pm AEST. The winner will be published online at
www.powerofmushrooms.com.au for a minimum period of twenty-eight (28) days commencing on the 20/02/2014. Prizes must be claimed within 3 months. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Major prize winners will also be published in “The Australian” newspaper on Saturday 22nd February, 2014.
Minor prize winners will be selected at 10am on the 25 November, 2013, 16 December, 2014, 6 January, 2014 and 20 January, 2014. Winners will be notified by phone and email and published on Mushroom Lovers Club Facebook page

All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotional database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal value and/or similar specification, subject to any written directions from a State and/or Territory regulatory authority.
The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed Prize Draw at 12:00pm AEST on 07/05/2014 at Australian Mushroom Growers Association, 2 Forbes Street, Windsor NSW 2756. If it is necessary to award any unclaimed prizes, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Without limiting the requirement for compliance with these Terms and Conditions, all valid entries received during the Promotional Period (other than those entries which have already been drawn as winners) will be eligible to win any unclaimed prize.
Winners, if any, will be notified by phone and in writing by email within two (2) business days of the draw.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in this promotion or accepting any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages.
