I have a special win to share today

At the beginning of December I took my little one to the Kmart wishing tree and we picked a train set to donate. He was a bit upset about giving it away as he wanted to keep it but once the time came to put it under the tree he happily left it there.

A week later my husband lost his job. Thankfully we had presents already organised and some comping wins to get us through, but it has been a stressful time and we've been feeling a little less enthusiastic about the festive season this year.

Well you could have blown me over with a feather when last week I found out my little one had won a comp for the same brand of train set that we gave away, it was delivered today and it turns out there are 2 different sets! Both are bigger and better than the one we donated and it will be so nice to be able to give our little one these special extra presents that he will love.

It may not be a huge win but it feels like our own little Christmas blessing!
