About the prize
Located in the picturesque Kosciuszko National Park in south eastern New South Wales, Perisher is the largest ski resort in the southern hemisphere and the ideal place for a family holiday. This generous prize from Snowscene includes five nights accommodation for your family of four (including two adults and two children under 14), breakfast and dinner daily, equipment hire (helmets, ski clothes and skis), lift passes for the week, daily ski lessons including a two-hour adult group lesson and three-hour children’s group lesson for beginners. Ride the famous Perisher Quad Express to a lofty height of approximately 2000 metres above sea level and admire the breathtaking views to the east across the Snowy Mountains or take the opportunity to get off at mid-station on the way up and have some refreshments at Mid Perisher. Alternatively, join the children on the designated toboggan slope beside the Perisher Valley carpark on Piper’s Ridge for some serious fun!
The prize includes accommodation at The Man from Snowy River Hotel, which is a warm venue in the heart of Perisher Resort. The onsnow hotel overlooks the beautiful Front Valley while each room brings guests comfort and style. When not on the slopes, guests can enjoy the many facilities the hotel offers including fireplaces, bars, gym, steam room, beauty salon and dining room. The prize winner can choose to take the kids for a family experience, OR to go as a couple and receive complimentary flights to Canberra and transfers for two people to Perisher. The prize may be enjoyed this season or next year (2015) subject to availability.
