Kart World’s “What could your business do with $250,000?”
Kart World is giving one lucky winner the chance to win $250,000. If you race at a Corporate Function between 1 April 2014 and 31 July 2014 you will receive one free entry in the draw on behalf of and in the name of your company. If your company’s entry is drawn out of the prize barrel you will then select one of 250 envelopes spread around the Kart World race track, one of which will contain the grand prize of $250,000 and 249 which will contain $1,000.
As long as the prize winning company meets all the criteria stated in these Terms and Conditions, the company is entitled to claim this prize.

Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The name of this competition is “What could your business do with $250,000?” (the “Promotion”)
The promoter of this competition is Karting (Aust) Pty Ltd (ACN 120 771 708) (the “Promoter”, also referred to as “Kart World”).
The commencement date of the Promotion is 1st April 2014 and the closing date is 31st July 2014 11.59 pm WST (the “Promotional Period”)
The draw will be held 8th August 2014 at 2.00pm Australia Western Standard Time (the “Draw Date”) at 8 Cowcher Place Belmont (“the Draw Location”).
For the purpose of this Promotion an entry into the draw is effected by the following:
a. A driver whom attended a corporate function at Kart World Belmont during the Promotional Period stated above, will be awarded one free (1) entry in to the draw on behalf of their company. The driver shall complete an entry form available from Kart World Belmont and submit it to the box provided at Kart World Belmont. The company represented on the entry form shall be the “Entrant” for the purposes of the Promotion.
For the purpose of this Promotion an Entrant must,:
a) Be a company operating within Western Australia;
b) Not be otherwise excluded from entry by reasons stated in item 9 of these terms and conditions; and
c) Have a representative present at the Draw Location on the Draw Date.
Entry is not open to:
a) Persons who qualify as employees of Karting (Aust) Pty Ltd or any of its affiliates;
and
b) Businesses operating solely outside of Western Australia.
If there is any doubt or dispute as to whether or not a company is an Entrant pursuant to item 8, or is excluded by item 9, the decision of the Promoter will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
The Promoter reserves the right to scrutinise any and all entries and to validate entries and disqualify any Entrant whom they feel may have manipulated the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
All entries and the details contained in the entries become the property of the promoter. All entries will be entered in to a database and the Entrants’ names and contact details may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes by the Promoter and its affiliates. The Promoter shall comply with the Privacy Act 1988 with respect to Entrants’ details. Pursuant to Information Privacy Principle 6 of the Privacy Act an Entrant in certain circumstances. admin@kartworldbelmont.com.au On the Draw Date, each separate entry as stated in item 7 will be deposited in to a barrel and the barrel will be subsequently turned for a period determined at the sole discretion of the Promoter. At the completion of the barrel turning one (1) entry will be selected from the barrel (the “Prize Winner”).
On the Draw Date a total of two hundred and fifty (250) sealed envelopes will be dispersed evenly on the Kart World racetrack. One (1) envelope will contain a voucher entitling the recipient to the grand prize of $250,000 (the “Grand Prize”) and two hundred and forty nine (249) envelopes will each contain a voucher entitling the recipient to a prize of $1,000 (the “$1,000 Prize”) (together, the “Competition Prizes”). The representative of the Prize Winner Company will select one (1) envelope from the Kart World racetrack which will contain their Competition Prize.
The Grand Prize (if selected) will be awarded as a cash prize to the value of $250,000, payable in the form determined by the Promoter, including electronic funds transfer or cheque.
The $1,000 Prize shall be awarded as a cash cheque to the Prize Winner.
All Competition Prize amounts are in Australian Dollars.
In order to claim a Competition Prize a representative of the Prize Winner must be present at the time of the draw.
The Grand Prize must be accepted and claimed by the Prize Winner on or before 11th August 2014 or the Grand Prize will be forfeited.
The Prize Winner must provide suitable identification to the Promoters satisfaction to be entitled to claim a Competition Prize.
If the Prize Winner chooses to accept a Competition Prize, the Prize Winner grants the Promoter the unequivocal and irrevocable right to use the Prize Winner and the Prize Winner’s Representative’s name and take the Prize Winner’s Representative’s photograph for marketing and publicity purposes including, but not limited to television, radio, and social media, including the Kart World Belmont Facebook page (

The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is caused or attributed, including direct or consequential loss, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking or using any Competition Prize awarded, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Prize Winner shall be responsible for any taxes, duties or other charges associated with the Competition Prize.
