Well, the next installment of Event Cinema’s Chicks at the Flicks event on October 1 will be a chick flick with a difference, with an advance screening of the spine-tingling thriller Gone Girl. Starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike as married couple Nick and Amy Dunne, the film is an adaptation of the New York Times’ Best Selling author Gillian Flynn’s novel of the same name telling the story of a marriage gone horribly wrong.
