TERMS AND CONDITIONS: "Weekly Facebook Competition" Promotion
By entering into the Weekly Facebook Competition (Competition), entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter the Competition and Prize details form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions is invalid.
The permit numbers for the Competition are: NSW Permit No LTPS/14/05799 and ACT Permit No. TP 14/02550.
The promoter of the Competition is LACI Pty Ltd ACN 121 903 517 ATF the Politix Unit Trust T/A Politix located at18 Ellis Street, South Yarra, Victoria, 3141, contactable on 1800 765 484 (Promoter).
The Competition commences at 15:00 (AEST) on Thursday 31st July 2014 and closes at [14:00 (AEST) on Friday 5th September 2014 (Competition Period).
The Competition is open only to legal residents of Australia who are at least 15 years of age at the time of entering. Persons entering the Competition who are under 18 years of age require their parents' or legal guardians' permission. Directors, officers, management, employees and other staff (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management, employees and other staff) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, and of the agencies and companies associated with this Competition, are ineligible to enter.

The Promoter will not accept entries submitted outside of the Competition Period. There is a limit of one (1) entry per entrant. Entry is free of charge.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks or services, the internet, or computer or telephone networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. Any form of automated entry using any device or software is invalid. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. All inaccurate and/or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
DRAW AND PRIZES
When an entrant's registration is complete and received by the Promoter, the entrant will go into the draw to win a Politix gift voucher to the value of $100.00 (Prize). There are 6 Prizes to be won in the Competition. The total prize pool is valued at $600.00. The Prize value is in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
The prize draws for the Competition will be held every Friday during the Competition Period with a final draw to be held on Friday 5th September 2014 at 15.00 AEST at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 3, Erina Plaza, 210 Central Coast Highway, Erina NSW 2250. The draw dates are as follows: 1st August 2014; 8th August 2014; 15th August 2014; 22nd August 2014; 29th August 2014 and 5th September 2014 (Draw Dates).
Each draw will involve the random drawing of one (1) entry from all valid entries received by the Promoter during the competition period. Refer to Point 4 of this Terms and Conditions.
Each winner will be notified via email on the Draw Date via the contact details provided to the Promoter on entry into the Competition. On each Draw Date, the winner's name and States of residence will be posted on the official Politix Facebook Page.
The Promoter will deliver the Prize to each winner within 28 days of the relevant Draw Date. The Promoter will deliver the Prize by mail to each winner using the contact details provided to the Promoter on entry into the Competition.
If a winner of a Prize is not readily identified, the Prize has not been claimed by that winner within 3 months after the relevant Draw Date, and the Promoter has made reasonable efforts to identify that winner of the Prize and deliver the Prize to that winner, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a second draw (Second Draw), subject to approval from the relevant authorities (if required). In the event the Second Draw takes place and a new winner is drawn (Second Draw Winner), the Promoter will attempt to contact the Second Draw Winner via email on the day of the Second Draw using the contact details provided to the Promoter on entry into the Competition. The name of the Second Draw Winner will be published on the official Politix Facebook Page.
The Promoter may in its absolute discretion prohibit an entrant's participation in the Competition, cancel a Prize or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of a Prize to a winner if the entrant or the winner, in the opinion of the Promoter, behaves aggressively or offensively, or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate (or of the business of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate), is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.
If an entrant is unable to, refuses to or fails to take part in any element of this Competition, or a winning entry is deemed by the Promoter not to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to discard that entrant's entry and proceed as if that entrant had not entered the Competition. Entries that, in the Promoter's opinion, are offensive, defamatory or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate or that infringe any third party rights will be invalid. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter may require each winner to provide identification as requested by the Promoter including (without limitation) proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency, prior to the Promoter delivering the Prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter's discretion, subject to the Promoter's rights to request such information under Australian law.
If at any time the Promoter becomes aware that an entrant has not complied with these terms and conditions, that entrant will have no entitlement to the Prize (even if the Promoter has announced that entrant as the winner and/or the entrant has claimed the Prize). In the event that the entrant has claimed (but not redeemed) the Prize, the entrant may be required, at the direction of the Promoter, to return the Prize.
The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable, nor can it be redeemed for cash. The Prize is valid for 3 months and can only be redeemed in the Politix standalone stores (excludes Myer concept stores). Please visit our website to find our Politix standalone stores. Voucher cannot be redeemed in the Politix Online Store politix.com.au. In the event the winner does not use the Prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then the Prize will be forfeited by the winner. Cash will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the Prize.
Each entrant must ensure that any other person whose details have been provided by the entrant to the Promoter for the purposes of the entrant's participation in this Competition has given their implied or express consent for his/her details to be provided to the Promoter and any of its related bodies corporate and to be contacted by the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate in relation to this Competition.
COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
All personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy (available at
http://www.politix.com.au/privacy-policy).
By entering into the Competition, entrants consent to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate collecting, using and disclosing their personal information provided to the Promoter to conduct and facilitate the Competition.
By entering into the Competition, entrants consent to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate collecting, using and disclosing their personal information provided to the Promoter on entry into the Competition for direct marketing purposes, to offer entrants products and services that may be of interest, including product and services from other suppliers.
If the Promoter provides direct marketing to entrants by electronic messages (e.g by email, text or other digital means), entrants can opt out by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or as otherwise directed in the communication. online@politix.com.au at any time to opt-out of mailing lists.
All personal information collected in connection with the Competition is being collected by the Promoter. Facebook is in no way involved with the collection of entrants' personal information for the purpose of the Competition.
GENERAL MATTERS
All entrants completely release the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and Facebook from liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Competition, or in connection with the delivery, acceptance or use of the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any or all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Competition or acts in violation of these terms and conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
If for any reason any aspect of this Competition and/or a prize is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster, infection by computer virus, telephone network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition and/or the prize, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities, if required.
Without limiting any other paragraph in the terms and conditions, the Promoter may at its discretion amend any aspect of this Competition or of these terms and conditions, subject to applicable laws and subject to the approval of the relevant authorities, if required. All decisions by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
