Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The promoter of this competition is Blundstone Australia Pty Limited ABN 60 009 475 852 of 88 Gormanston Road, Moonah Tasmania Australia (the Promoter).
Entry is open to all persons aged 18 or older who are residents of Australia (Participants). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

How to enter the competition

Give Blundstone permission to visit their property.
Incomprehensible and incomplete entries are invalid. The time and date of Entry will, in each case, be the time the registration form is submitted and received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected Entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
Participants may submit only one during the Promotion Period. Any Entry that is made on behalf of a Participant by a third party is invalid.
If the Participant is for whatever reason unable to enter the competition via
www.blunniefairy.com, they will be able to email their entry to the email address
blunniefairy@blundstone.com providing the same information required on the entry page of the competition.
The Promoter will not accept Entries that it deems, in its absolute discretion, to be unlawful, fraudulent or in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other rights, or is misleading or deceptive, false, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable in respect of race, religion, gender, not suitable for children under 18 years or otherwise unsuitable for publication. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this paragraph.
There is no cost to enter the competition. However, the cost of accessing the competition will be dependant on the Participant’s individual Internet service provider.
Should a Participant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Participant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an Entry should be directed to the Promoter.
Selection of Winners
The Promoter will examine all entries entered for the question and will select, in its absolute discretion, 200 Entries that it judges best in the Prize Pool to be the prizewinners, in accordance with the criteria set out in paragraph 15.
In the case that the same answer is entered by chance by more than one Participant and is chosen as a prizewinner, the Participant that entered first will be deemed the prizewinner.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary or creative merit.
Winners will be notified by email and/or text using the details they supply at the time of entry. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the results of the competition.
Prizes

Prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The Promoter will arrange for the delivery of the prizes to the winner on the night detailed in the email to all winners. Prizes are only available on the night stipulated in the email.
If the prizes are unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable laws.
Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit, or left at the Participant’s property.
By accepting the prizes the winners agree to participate in and cooperate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
Prize values are based upon the average recommended retail price of AU $160.00 across the Blundstone boots in Australia, in Australian dollars at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
Intellectual property and other rights
Participants grant to the Promoter a royalty free, irrevocable, worldwide licence in any media whatsoever to use the Participant’s name in connection with any advertising or marketing of the Promoter in relation to the competition.
The Participant assigns throughout the world to the Promoter all intellectual property and other rights in and to an Entry, including as an assignment of future copyright for the entered image or text (Entry Rights). The Participant warrants he/she owns the Entry Rights and is able to give the assignment. Participants consent to any use of the Entry, which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
Participants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with the competition for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the competition and awarding any prizes.
Other terms
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prizewinners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination of them that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of Entries.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
By entering this promotion, all participants give Blundstone permission to visit their property for the sole reason of delivering a new pair of Blundstone boots and take away the participant’s old pair of boots. The old boots must be clearly marked as for collection by Blundstone, and if this not done the prizewinner will forfeit their prize.
Jurisdiction
The laws of Tasmania, Australia govern these competition terms and conditions and Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania, Australia.
