The Loot in the Boot promotion will commence on Monday 20 January 2014 and will conclude on Thursday 18
December 2014.
Draws will be held on Thursday 27 March, 26 June, 25 September and 18 December 2014.
Members of the Blacktown Workers Club (BWC) Group will have the chance to win a Hyundai i20 5 door hatch (two to
be won) or a Hyundai i20 3 door hatch (two to be won) plus an unknown cash amount hidden in the boot of the vehicle
(maximum value over the four draws of $10,000).
The BWC Group consists of the following venues:
Workers Blacktown 55 Campbell Street, Blacktown
Workers Sports 170 Reservoir Road, Blacktown
Members can enter the promotion by making any purchase of $10 or more (in one transaction) at any point of sale
(POS) within the BWC Group. Members will receive one ticket for every $10 spent (i.e. 1 x ticket for $10, 2 x tickets
for $20, etc).
Each day at 9.00am, 100 tickets will be drawn from the promotional box (located at Workers Blacktown only) and
those daily winners will each receive a confirmation letter from the Club indicating that they have been selected to
participate in the Promotion for a chance to win one of four (4) cars to the total value $63,294.
Entry tickets will automatically be dispensed into the promotional box upon members having their membership card
swiped at any POS with a sale of $10 or more. This includes membership renewals, food & beverage, show tickets and
much more. If a member forgets to have their membership card swiped, tickets for that transaction will not be
reissued; thus it is up to the member to produce their membership card for each qualifying purchase before the
transaction is completed.
Terms & Conditions
1. The promotion will commence on Monday 20 January 2014 and conclude on Thursday 18 December 2014;
2. Tickets for the promotion will be issued to members of the BWC Group when they make a purchase of $10 or more (in one
transaction) at any POS terminal. They will receive one ticket for every $10 spent (i.e. 1 x ticket for $10, 2 x tickets for
$20, and so on), which will automatically be dispensed into the promotional box located in the foyer of Workers Blacktown;
3. At 9.00am each morning during the promotional period there will be 100 promotional tickets drawn from the promotional
box to invite 100 members to attend one of the following Final Draw dates:
Draw 1 Thursday 27 March 2014 from 7.30pm
(Entries earned from 20 January to 20 March 2014);
Draw 2 Thursday 26 June 2014 from 7.30pm
(Entries earned from 3 April to 19 June 2014);
Draw 3 Thursday 25 September 2014 from 7.30pm
(Entries earned from 3 July to 18 September 2014);
Draw 4 Thursday 18 December 2014 from 7.30pm
(Entries earned from 2 October to 11 December 2014).
4. Members can only be drawn out once per day, however they can receive multiple entries throughout the promotional
period;
5. Tickets that are drawn daily will be sent out to members of the BWC Group, ONLY if the member has given the Club
permission to send out promotional material;
6. If permission has NOT been granted, the daily tickets drawn from the promotional box will become null and void and a
redraw will take place until we have determined 100 valid members each day during the promotional period;

7. Members that received promotional ticket/s via post throughout the promotional period must return their entry ticket/s to
Workers Blacktown for the final draws as listed above and tickets for the promotion MUST be placed into the promotional
barrel before 7.30pm on each draw date;
8. Entry tickets will be valid for the draw indicated on the entry ticket, however once the promotion commences at 7.30pm
on the draw dates, the barrel will be deemed closed;
9. At the conclusion of each Final Draw date the promotional box and barrel will be emptied;
10. The promotion will be conducted at each site within the BWC Group, as listed above, however the Final Draws, will be
conducted at Workers Blacktown ONLY and members MUST be present at this venue to win;
11. It will be the responsibility of the member to place their entry tickets in the promotional barrel before the draw date and
time;
12. The barrel for the four (4) Final Draws will open at 9.00am and close at 7.30pm sharp on each draw date, with the
promotion commencing shortly after 7.30pm. Once the promotion has commenced, late entries will NOT be accepted;
13. There will be ten (10) draws conducted on each draw date, where a member can only be drawn once to participate in the
Final Draw;
14. The winners name/s will be announced via the Clubs PA system;
15. Announcements will NOT be heard in Ristorante La Ruota on level 5, thus it will be the responsibility of members to ensure
they are within the promotional area during the draws, for them to be heard;
16. Each winner will have 4 minutes to claim their prize; if not claimed within the 4 minutes, then another draw will take
place until all participates have been selected to participate in the draw;
17. The ten (10) winners will select one of the cases on display. Once each case is claimed the winners will open the case to
reveal whether they have won either the car or a $100 Cash;
18. A member who wins one (1) of the four (4) cars will not qualify to win any further prizes throughout the promotion, which
also includes the consolation prizes;
19. POS for the promotion excludes sales from Keno and TAB. Purchases made from the 1 July 2014 at any contract caterers
(being Bungarribee International Buffet, Tingha Palace, Buffet Palace and Ristorante La Ruota) will be included in the
promotion;
20. Sales using Workers Rewards are ineligible to enter the promotion;
21. The club takes no responsibility for lost or damaged tickets, including any system errors with Task POS that may occur
during the promotional period. If system errors do occur, ticket/s can NOT be reproduced;
22. Promotion entrants and claimants must have their current Membership Card with them at the time of the draw and MUST
be financial to claim a prize. No claims will otherwise be accepted;
23. No proxy may be used on behalf of any winner for any part of the promotion;
24. Participation in this promotion implies acceptance to all terms and conditions;
25. The Major Winner will receive either:
a. Hyundai i20 – Automatic 5 door hatch, 1.4L Active (March & December Draws);
b. Hyundai i20 – Automatic 3 door hatch F/L 1.4L Active (July & September Draws)
26. The prize will include all on road costs (including stamp duty, CTP and registration), however it will be the responsibility of
the winner to insure the car;
27. The Final Draw winners can elect to take the Hyundai i20 or $10,000 cash for each draw;
28. As an incentive to take the Hyundai an undisclosed cash amount will be hidden in the boot, which will be known as the
Loot in the Boot; inside the boot of the four cars over the promotional period, will be a total cash prize pool of $10,000;
29. If the prize winner elects to take the cash prize instead of the car, the cash component in the boot of the car will not be
awarded and will not carry over to any other draws. The Loot in the Boot will ONLY be awarded if the winner elects to take
to car as their prize;
30. Total prize value for the promotion will be $76,894 with 40 draws in total;
31. Any member caught tampering in any way with the promotion may be refused the right to enter any future club promotion;
32. Entrants will be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcoholic beverage prize, if it would breach any relevant laws
or codes including those relating to the Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Alcohol;
33. Only financial members of BWC Group may participate in this promotion. This excludes provisional members, suspended
members, members that have been excluded and members that have dishonoured cheques outstanding;
34. Directors, Management & Staff of Blacktown Workers Club Group, including Contractors and their employees, are not
eligible to enter the promotion;
35. Management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
