Riverlink Gift Card Promotion Terms and Conditions - 2014
Information on how to claim and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
This promotion is only open to Australian residents excluding the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion and their immediate family. Immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents. Tenants means Lessees, Licensees and in the case of a corporation, their directors.
Tenants and the staff of Riverlink retail tenants, and their immediate family are not permitted to enter the competition to win the three (3) $500 cash prizes, however they are entitled to the free $10 Riverlink Gift Card if all other terms and conditions are adhered to.
The Riverlink Gift Card promotion runs from 10am Saturday, 22nd November to 4pm Wednesday, 24th December 2014. Riverlink Gift Cards may be purchased from the Centre Management Office or at the Hostess Booth near Best & Less.
A minimum value of $10 and a maximum value of $1,000 applies to Riverlink Gift Cards.
For every Riverlink Gift Card purchased of $100 or more, a separate bonus $10 Riverlink Gift Card will be issued at no charge to the purchaser.
A limit of five (5) bonus $10 gift cards applies to each customer, regardless of the amount of Riverlink gift cards purchased or their value.
Purchases of Riverlink Gift Cards may not be tallied to make $100. Ie The $100 or more purchase must be on the one Riverlink Gift Card.
All Riverlink Gift Cards, regardless of their purchase value carry a $1.50 issue fee which is in addition to the purchase value of the card.
The issue fee of $1.50 is not applicable to the bonus $10 Riverlink Gift Cards.
If for any reason the purchaser of the Riverlink Gift Card does not take the bonus $10 Riverlink Gift Card at the time of purchase, the bonus card will be forfeited and cash or other prizes will not be offered in replacement at any time.
All customers who purchase a Riverlink Gift Card during the promotional period regardless of value, are eligible to go into the draw to win one of three (3) $500 cash payments.
One entry per customer per gift card, regardless of the value of the gift card.
The three (3) $500 cash prizes will be drawn at random after the promotion closes at 4pm on Wednesday 24th December 2014. Winners will be contacted by phone or email that afternoon.
To claim the prize, the winner must provide personal identification to confirm their identity and their details must match the competition entry details. If the official winner is under the age of 18, then proof of identity for both the official winner and their parent/guardian will be required to claim the prize.
If the prize is not claimed within three months after the winner is contacted via the telephone number and/or e-mail address provided by the Entrant, that prize will be forfeited.
In circumstances where the Winner is unable to be contacted on the telephone number and e-mail address provided by the Entrant the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that Entrant and select an alternate Winner in accordance with these terms and conditions after a period of one month.
All references to times and dates are to times and dates according to AEST.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
any bonus card that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
use of the bonus card.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant regulatory authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and to deny any person or persons believed to be the cause of any of these activities the opportunity to participate in the promotion.
The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information either caused by website users or by any of the equipment used, or by any computers or technology used by intermediaries, service providers, or business partners to facilitate the competition.
The promoter is bound by the Privacy Act 1988.
