Set against the beautiful backdrop of Werribee Open Range Zoo, Rhythm of Africa returns this summer, running every Saturday night from until 28 February.
Experience the sounds and flavours of Africa at sunset with live music, African inspired food, dancing, drumming, safari tours and kids activities.
Rhythm of Africa features musical acts and performances just for kids at 4.30pm, as well as drumming workshops, Ethiopian coffee ceremonies, hair braiding and face-painting.
Safari Tours are included with the last bus departing at 6pm and the Zoo’s walking trail remains open until 8pm.
There will be African-inspired dishes on offer but you are also welcome to bring your own blankets, hampers and beverages for a relaxed picnic.
