Terms and Conditions of Entry

Simply make a booking with The Holiday Planet Group between 06 April 2015 and 31 July 2015 or sign up to our FREE Newsletter to go in the draw to WIN a 5 Star Luxury Cunard Fly Cruise for two adults to the value of $10,000. Please read the Terms and Conditions below prior to registering for our Newsletter.

·        Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over except the officers, management and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager or employee) of the Promoter, who are not eligible to enter. The Promoter is Holiday Planet Pty Ltd, ABN: 96 095 933 869, Licence Number 9TA1193, Level 1, 288 Stirling Street, Perth 6000.

 

·        Entrants will automatically be entered into the draw if they make a booking with The Holiday Planet Group or subscribe to our Newsletter between 06 April 2015 and 5pm AWST 31 July 2015. All pre-existing subscribing members will who update their details between 06 April 2015 and 5pm AWST 31 July 2015 will also be entered into the draw. By subscribing to our Newsletter entrants will receive regular emails which will advise of special travel offers and news. Entrants may unsubscribe from these Newsletters at any time. However, to remain eligible to win the 5 Star Luxury Cunard Fly Cruise $10,000 Giveaway, entrants will need to remain subscribed until after the second chance draw.

 

·        The promotion commences on the 06 April 2015; entries close at 5pm AWST on 31 July 2015.

 

·        The prize winner will be drawn at midday AWST on 03 August 2015. The draw will take place at midday AWST at Holiday Planet Pty Ltd, Level 1, 288 Stirling Street Perth. The winner will be the first valid entry drawn that is subscribed to our Newsletter.  The winner will be contacted by the Promoter via the email address provided in the entry. The prize winner will also be announced in the Promoters electronic Newsletters and will be published in The Australian newspaper on 08 August 2015.

 

·        Three (3) attempts over a 30 day period will be made to contact the prize winner. If the prize remains unclaimed after 90 days the original winner will forfeit the prize and will have no further claim. The Promoter will then conduct a second chance draw at midday AWST on 1st of December 2015 subject to any written directions given under Lottery and Gaming Regulations. Any second chance draw will be held at Holiday Planet Pty Ltd, Level 1, 288 Stirling Street Perth and will be published in the promoters Electronic Newsletters. The second chance draw winner will also be notified by email and will be published in The Australian newspaper on 07 Dec 2015.

 

 

·        The Prize consists of 2 x economy class tickets from Perth/Melbourne to Europe flying Qatar Airways including all pre payable taxes.  Departures from all other capital cities will include 2 x return economy class tickets to connect via Perth/Melbourne.  1 x cabin on board a Cunard Cruise. Total prize value $10,000.

 

·        Unless otherwise stated, this prize is Valid for travel: 1 May – 31 May 2016. Prize will be selected by Holiday Planet once Cunard’s 2016 cruise schedule has been released.

 

·        Prize reservation must be made directly with Holiday Planet.  No amendments or cancellations will be allowed and any unused flights/hotels/Cruise or transportation will be forfeited.   The Prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash or any kind. No compensation will be given for unused portion of land stay or transportation.

 

·        Tickets do not include excess luggage, luggage must be within the baggage guidelines of the airline.

 

·        The winner and any travelling companion(s) must depart and return at the same time using the same air carrier.

 

·        The prize must be booked prior to 30 Dec 2015.

 

·        The entrant releases from and indemnifies the Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of the entrant’s participation in the Promotion, or breach of these terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

 

·        The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

 

·        No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.

 

·        By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the personal information they submit with their entry - being entered into the Promoter’s marketing database to be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant.

 

·        The entrant’s personal information will be used and stored in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.

 

·        If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition, subject to relevant Authorities.
