TERMS AND CONDITIONS “ Win a $500 Shopping Spree Competition”

Entry to the competition is open to all persons residing in NSW and aged 18 and over except employees of Berry Square (Shopping Centre) and their immediate family, tenants in the Centre and their immediate family, staff of tenants in the Centre and their immediate family, the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion and their immediate family. Immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents. Tenants means Lessee's, Mesh Interactive, Licensees and in the case of a corporation, its’ Directors.
1. The promotion will run from Monday, 13th July 2015 and close Friday, 31st July 2015 (3 weeks).
2. During the promotional period, customers of Berry Square are offered the chance to win one (1) of 10 $500 Universal Gift Card. There will be also be instant win prizes of 250 X $10 Berry Square Lunch Vouchers available to be won. Lunch Vouchers can be redeemed at any Food Retailer in Berry Square up to the value of $10, no change will be given if purchase is under $10. Gift Cards and Lunch Vouchers will have an expiry date. There will be 12,500 Scratch Cards printed and distributed.
3. How to enter: Scratch cards will be distributed by Retailers of Berry Square with purchase. Scratch cards will also be distributed by Promotional Staff in and around the Streets of North Sydney on various days for the duration of the competition. To be eligible to win customers must scratch the panel on the card. This will reveal either an instant prize of a $10 Berry Square Lunch Voucher or Second Chance Draw. To enter the Second Chance Draw to win a $500 Universal Gift Card, customers must fill in their details on the scratch card and place in the entry barrel located in the lower Food Court at Berry Square.
4. Prize details: There are ten (10) major prizes to be won. Each major prize comprises one (1) $500 Universal Gift Card. One Universal Gift Card will be given away each weekday from the second week of the promotion commencing 20th July 2015 and the final prize will be given away on the 31st July 2015. Prizes shown in advertising material are examples only of items you can purchase with the $500 Universal Gift card. There will be 250 Instant Win $10 Berry Square Lunch Vouchers available to be won. Total value of all prizes to be won if all prizes are redeemed in the competition is $7,500.00.
5. All prize values are stated in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
6. Conditions of entry: Only one (1) major prize ($500 Universal Gift Card) can be won per person for the duration of the competition. Offer not transferable or redeemable for cash. Photocopies will not be accepted. Universal Gift cards have an expiry date of August 2016. Lunch Vouchers need to be redeemed by 31st August 2015. In the event of the winner not redeeming their prize by the valid date the prize will be forfeited.
7. Selection of prizewinner: The winner will be randomly selected from the valid entries received. The barrel draw will take place in the Food Court each weekday during the promotion. Date of each daily draw is at 3.00pm on the following dates 20/7/05, 21/7/15, 22/7/15, 23/7/15, 24/7/15 & 27/7/15, 28/7/15, 29/7/15, 30/7/15 & 31/7/15. Prize winners will be notified at 3:30pm on the date of the draw. Before the prize is awarded, the Promoter reserves the right to request the age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The winners will be notified via their mobile phone number provided on the entry form and will be required to come to the Centre Management Office at Berry Square, 77 Berry Street, North Sydney to collect their prize.
8. The result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners’ names will be published on the Berry Square website and will be available to view at the Centre Management Office at Berry Square.
9. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes cannot be transferred to any other person without the consent of the Promoter. If a winner is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions, the winner will forfeit the prize. If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
10. By redeeming the prize, the winners agree that the Promoter and their related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the use of the prize, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
11. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, incorrectly entered or misdirected entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
12. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion delay the promotion or parts of the promotion so effected. Arrangements regarding recommencement of the promotion or parts of the promotion will be publicly advertised.
13. The prizewinners must, on request by the Promoter, be able to provide evidence, which to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, demonstrates that the winner is an eligible entrant and has complied with these Terms and Conditions.
