Terms and Conditions
1. The promotion period commences on Tuesday 1st September 2015 and finishes
on Sunday 18th October 2015
2. This promotion is open to all financial members of Currumbin RSL and is not intended for minors
or persons excluded from gaming.
3. To enter - one automatic entry will go into the draw with every purchase of $10 or more in La
Bocca, La Vista, Alleys Restaurant and Bar and the Main Bar or simply play any of our Gaming
machines to gain entries with every turnover of $10 or more.
4. Due to licensing regulations, purchases for cigarettes in La Bocca cannot be included in this
promotion.
5. Members must have their financial Currumbin RSL membership card in the Gaming machine to
receive automatic entries with every $10 turnover.
6. Entrants must be present in the Club at the time of the draws to be eligible to win the prize/s
offered.
7. The draws for finalists will be conducted on the following days in the following manner:
a) Every Sunday during the promotional period from 2pm in our Gaming Room one (1) eligible
entry will be electronically drawn every half an hour until 5 eligible entries have been drawn.
Draws will be at 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm and 4pm
b) The member’s name will be announced 3 times and given 3 minutes to present themselves to
the designated promotion staff member located at the promotional station in the gaming
room
c) If the member does not present themselves to the designated promotion staff member within
the 3 minute time period then another eligible entry will be drawn every 10 minutes until a
member is present.
d) At the completion of the 4pm draw once the total of five (5) eligible weekly entrants have
been found each of these entrants will be asked to select one Spring Celebration icon out of
five available icons in the order of their names drawn from the hourly draws.
e) Three (3) of these icons will contain the voucher amount of 5,000 member bonus reward
points and two (2) will contain the voucher amount of 5,000 member bonus reward points and
the words Grand Final Entrant.
f) The two members who select the Grand Final Entrant icons will be required to attend the
Grand Final draw on Sunday 18th October to be eligible to win the $10,000 cash prize or
consolation prize of 10,000 member bonus reward points.
g) Grand Final Entries are not transferable.
h) On Sunday 18th October 2015, there will be a total of 14 eligible finalists for the grand final
draw. These 14 finalists will be made up of the finalists drawn from the preceding weekly
draws as outlined in 7(a) – 7(g) above and who are present at the grand final draw with the
balance to be drawn on Sunday 18th October from 2pm.
i) Once all the eligible finalists have been found on Sunday 18th October 2015 they will then
select a Spring Celebration Envelope in the order they were drawn.
j) One envelope will contain the words “WINNER $10,000 CASH” and 13 envelopes will contain
the words “CONSOLATION 10,000 Member Bonus Reward Points”
k) The eligible finalists will then be asked to open their envelope to reveal what they have won.
l) The entrant whose envelope contains the words “WINNER $10,000 CASH” is the winner of the
grand prize of $10,000 cash.
m) The Grand Final Winner will be required to produce sufficient ID documentation to complete
appropriate AML/CTF paperwork.
n) Once AML/CTF paperwork is completed, the total $10,000 grand final cash prize can be paid in
the following ways:
i. Any amount up to $5,000 in cash and the balance in cheque made payable to the
winner’s name. No “Pay Cash” cheque’s allowed, or
ii. Any amount up to $5000 in cash and the balance made up of a combination of a
cheque made payable to the winner’s name and member bonus reward points added
to their membership card. The total prize value must be $10,000. (1 point = 1c) or
iii. Any amount up to $5,000 in cash and the balance made by Electronic Funds Transfer to
the winner’s nominated bank account on Monday 19th October 2015
o) The remaining 13 grand final entrants will win 10,000 Member Bonus Reward Points which
will be added to their membership cards.
8. The total of cash and member bonus reward points for this promotion is $13,050.
9. Currumbin RSL will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including
but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a
result of partaking in the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
10. Directors, Management and Staff of Currumbin RSL are not eligible to enter the draw.
11. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over and must produce an acceptable form of identification to
claim prizes.
12. No liability will be accepted by the Currumbin RSL for the loss of electronic entries due to
malfunction of associated equipment.
13. The decision of the Management is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. By entering the promotion Currumbin RSL reserves the right to use the members name and
photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
15. Entry is acknowledgement that the entrant agrees to the above terms and conditions.
16. This promotion is not intended for gaming excluded patrons or minors.
