Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Win two gold tickets to a One Day International Cricket match this summer (“Promotion”) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Promotion commences Monday, 14 December 2015, 12:01AM (AEDT) and entries close at Sunday, 3 January 2016, 11:59PM (AEDT) (“Promotion Period”).
Entry is only open to Australian residents over the age of 14. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated with the conduct of this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
Entrants aged between 14 and up to but not including 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.
To enter, entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
be a registered member of Optus Perks;
go to optusperks.com.au/cricketODI and tell us in 25 words or less which match you would like to attend, and why;
provide valid postal address details for the purposes of receiving tickets to the matches; and
specify the capital city where they want to attend the One Day International Cricket match. Only one city is able to be specified.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.Entrants are unable to make changes to their entry once the entry is submitted. Entries with invalid name, email address and/or postal address details will be invalid entries and will not be included in the draw.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into the judging to be held at Tuesday, 5 January 2016, 3:00PM (AEDT) at Optus Centre Sydney, 1 Lyonpark Road, Macquarie Park, NSW 2113.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
Entrants will be judged against other entrants for the city nominated, for example Sydney entrants will be judged against other Sydney entrants. Entrants will be judged on creativity and originality. For each city, the 30 entries judged to be the most creative, will win a double pass to a One Day International Cricket match valued up to $240.00 (“Prize”). Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winning tickets will be posted to the address provided by the entrants. This address cannot be changed once the entry has been submitted. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, misdirected or stolen tickets. The Promoter is under no obligation to provide a replacement ticket but may choose to do so in its absolute discretion.
The winners will also be notified in writing by email with instructions on when tickets will be sent via post. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Additional spending money, meals, taxes, insurance, transport to and from the match, flights, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. The Prize only includes two tickets to the One Day International Cricket match located in the capital city selected by the customer.
If the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that the winner is not in the necessary condition to safely participate in the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award to the winner any part of the Prize.
Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
Cricket Australia reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change or amend the International Cricket/Victoria Bitter One Day International Series fixtures without notice. Neither the Promoter nor Cricket Australia accept responsibility for the cancellation or delay of any cricket match connected with this Promotion for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter or Cricket Australia.
By entering this promotion entrants agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with the ticket conditions which accompany any tickets won in conjunction with the promotion. Entrants also agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with Cricket Australia’s Conditions of Ticket Purchase, Entry to a Venue and Attendance at a Match (available at ww.cricket.com.au/tickets) supplemented by conditions of entry imposed by the venue operator. The Promoter will provide every person attending the match as part of the promotion with a copy of Cricket Australia’s Conditions of Ticket Purchase, Entry to a Venue and Attendance at a Match with delivery of the prize tickets.
Total Prize value in the Promotion is up to AU$28,500 (including GST).
In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner(s) do not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the winner(s).
The Prize (including any unused portion) cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value (including where the Prize is unavailable).

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
The Promoter and Cricket Australia are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by promotional website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions alters an individual’s statutory guarantees as set out in the Competition and Consumer Act or similar State and Territory laws, where it is illegal to do so.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion, and entry is conditional upon providing it. The Promoter may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
