1. Information on how to enter the Mother’s Day Woolworths WISH Gift Card competition (the “Promotion”), all entry instructions, advertising material and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Entrant from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
2. The Promoter is Woolworths Limited (ABN 88 000 014 675), 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista NSW 2153 (“Promoter”).
ELIGIBILITY
3. The Promotion is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 years who are registered Facebook users and enter into this Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (“Eligible Entrant”).
4. Entry into the Promotion is free.
5. Directors, management and employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (including adopted children), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step- sister or first cousin.
PROMOTION PERIOD
6. The Promotion commences at 13:00pm AEST 3 May 2016 and closes at 23:59pm AEST 8 May 2016 (“Promotion Period”).
HOW TO ENTER
7. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period:
a) Visit Facebook via
www.facebook.com or via the Facebook App.
b) Follow the instructions on the Mother’s Day Woolworths WISH Gift Card Promotional Facebook post; and
c) Answer the following question in the ‘Comments’ section of the Mother’s Day Woolworths WISH Gift Card Promotional Facebook post in 25 words or less,
“Mums offer the best advice and we want you to share it with us! Tell us in 25 words or less the ‘best advice’ you’ve ever received from your Mum for the chance to WIN $1000 in Woolworths WISH Gift Cards.”
8. There is a limit of one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant during the Promotional Period.
JUDING OF WINNERS
9. The Promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
10. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
11. The Promoter will judge all eligible entries based on originality and on literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the question in order to select the winning entry.
12. The judging will take place at Woolworths, 1 Woolworths Way Bella Vista NSW 2153 at 4pm AEST on 9 May 2016.
13. The judges reserve the right to select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next most original, creative and literate entries, and record them in order of merit in case of an invalid entry, ineligible entrant or unclaimed prize.
ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTIFICATION OF THE PRIZE WINNER
14. The prize winner will be notified via comment on the Woolworths Money Facebook page on 10 May 2016 and must reply via direct message to claim their prize. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. If the prize winner does not claim their prize within 5 business days from the date of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid.
16. If the winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded to another entry in accordance with clause 13.
17. Woolworths WISH Gift Cards can be used at participating stores within the Woolworths Group and as per conditions of use. For full terms and conditions and a list of participating stores, see

PRIZE
18. There is 1 (one) prize to be won.
19. The prize will consist of 2 x $500 Woolworths WISH Gift Cards. Total prize pool is $1,000.
20. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
GENERAL
21. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes. Independent financial advice should be sought.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an Eligible Entrant’s identity and address) and disqualify an Eligible Entrant who submits and entry that is in breach of these Terms & Conditions or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating the entry process or the Promotion, or who submits an entry that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems to be offensive, inappropriate, defamatory or otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
23. Once prizes have left the Promoter's premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
24. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
25. Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose other obligations including statutory consumer guarantees which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limit extent (Non-Excludable Conditions). To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all Non-Excludable Conditions.
26. If in the conduct of this Promotion the Promoter is liable for a breach of any Non-Excludable Condition, the promoter's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law, to (at its option) replacing or repairing or paying the cost of replacing or repairing any benefit or prize won.
27. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given by regulatory authorities.
28. The Promoter may use any personal information that the Eligible Entrant has provided for the purpose of running the Promotion and, where appropriate, awarding prizes. If the personal information requested is not provided, the Eligible Entrant cannot participate in the Promotion and is deemed ineligible. The Promoter may, in the event the Eligible Entrant is a winner, publish or cause to be published the winner's name and locality in any media, as required under the applicable State or Territory legislation. For these purposes the Promoter will only publish the winner's surname, first initial and state. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors. 29. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
