The splash-hit West End stage production Singin’ in the Rain is heading to Sydney’s Lyric Theatre in July.
Star of stage and screen Adam Garcia will play the lead role of Don Lockwood. Adam most recently graced Australian TV screens as a judge on Dancing with the Stars, and in the UK as a judge on Got to Dance. Adam was a founding member of the hugely successful tap group Tap Dogs with Dein Perry. And he has gone on to international success on the West End and in film. Joining Adam as his sidekick Cosmo Brown is the dynamic Jack Chambers, and the role of aspiring actress Kathy Selden will be played by Gretel Scarlett, star of Grease, Wicked and Mamma Mia!
Singin’ in the Rain will thrill audiences as they experience high-octane choreography, sumptuous sets and costumes, and the exhilarating spectacle of rain live on stage! This spectacular production is packed full of the charm, romance, comedy and Tinseltown glamour of the movie and features all the songs from the glorious MGM score, including Good Morning, Make ‘em Laugh, Moses Supposes and the classic Singin’ in the Rain.
