Entry Restrictions
Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Entrants must be able to attend the Star Trek Beyond Premiere on Thursday 7 July 2016 in Sydney NSW and, unless otherwise specified, must make their own way to and from this event.
Relevant States
Entry is only open to to all residents of New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.
Maximum Entries
Entrants can enter as many times as they like. Once an entrant has been awarded a prize, they must not continue to attempt to enter.
Entry Procedure
To enter, entrants must:
1. During the Online Registratiojn Period, visit the Website, register their details and answer the question specified by the Promoter in fifty (50) words or less.
2. On a Contesting Day, be selected by the Promoter (who will judge all entries in accordance with the Judging Details) to be a Contestant and participate in an on air challenge:
a) The Contestant will be given a name and asked whether that person is a character from Star Trek or a foreign fashion designer.
b) If the Contestant answers correctly, they will win the Major Prize for the State in which they reside.
c) If the Contestant answers incorrectly or fails to provide an answer within the nominated time frame, they will not receive a prize and the Promoter will select the next placed entrant to participate in the on air challenge with a new name.
There will be only one (1) Major Prize available for each of the Relevant States. Once the Major Prize for a particular State has been awarded, remaining entrants from that State will no longer be eligible to win a prize. There will be up to five (5) Major Prizes awarded in total during the Contesting Period.
Judging Details
All judging decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
Judging criteria: All entries will be judged on creativity, literary merit, originality and suitability or as otherwise specified. Where entrants submit a guess or answer to question(s), the Promoter will judge the accuracy of an answer, and there may be a time factor applied.
