Entrants must be at least 16 years of age.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the Prize.
Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of entrants who are aged under 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental or guardian consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Terms of Entry will bind the entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for entrants aged under 18 years). If a winner is aged under 18 years, prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner registering in the promotion on behalf of the winner, at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
Entrants may be required to provide a nominated valid Australian bank account (or the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age), as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $10,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their Entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion
The promotion begins at 9am (AEST) on Thursday 7 July 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 12pm (AEST) on Friday 15 July 2016.
Online Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by:
a) providing their contact details including but not limited to full name, phone number, email, DOB, gender, state, postcode and any other information requested by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion); and
b) answering the following question: “Tell us in 25 words or less why you need a good night’s sleep.” (Answer).
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Each week day of the Promotion Period between Monday 11 July 2016 and Friday 15 June 2016 between 12.00pm (AEST) and 4.00pm (AEST) the Judges (in their sole and absolute discretion) will:
(a) select up to ten (10) entrants judged to have submitted the “best” entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted by 12.00pm (AEST) that weekday during the Promotion Period (each, a Selected Entrant);
(b) contact up to ten (10) Selected Entrants (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone to discuss their Answer and assess their suitability for radio (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and
inform up to ten (10) Selected Entrants (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) that they are on the standby list and may be invited to participate in the On Air Challenge between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) that weekday (On Air Challenge).
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter or placed on the standby list, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant, and they may not be invited to appear on air to participate in the On Air Challenge or win a Prize.
On Air Challenge
Each weekday during the Promotion Period between Monday 11 July 2016 and Friday 15 July 2016, the Promoter will call a Selected Entrant on the standby list and invite them to appear on air and participate in the on air challenge.
(a) the Promoter will have a different pre-determined movie that will be the ‘movie of the day’ (Movie of the Day) (as determined by the promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(b) the Selected Entrant judged to have submitted the “best” entry (based on the Judging Criteria) from all valid entries submitted by 12.00pm (AEST) that weekday during the Promotion Period, will be invited to appear on air and participate in the On Air Challenge first;
(c) the Promoter will act out and narrate a famous scene from a movie (Clue) (as determined by the promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that will identity the Movie of the Day (Movie Title);
(d) the Promoter may give away further hints to assist the Selected Entrant in attempting to identify the Movie Title, however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so;
(e) the Selected Entrant will be asked to identify the Movie of the Day by stating the Movie Title (in its entirety, as requested by the Promoter in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion), based on the Clue and any hints provided to them;
(f) if the Selected Entrant does not correctly identify the Movie of the Day in accordance with paragraph (e) above (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Selected Entrant will be disqualified from the On Air Challenge and will not be awarded a Prize. The Selected Entrant with the next “best” entry (based on the Judging Criteria, as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) will be invited to participate in the On Air Challenge that weekday to compete for the Prize;
(g) the Promoter will continue the above process until a Selected Entrant appears on air and correctly identifies the Movie of the Day in accordance with paragraph (e) and is deemed the Prize winner for that day;
(h) the first Selected Entrant who correctly identifies the Movie of the Day during the On Air Challenge on each applicable weekday during the Promotion Period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) will be awarded a Prize.
If for any reason a Selected Entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on air, they are inaudible, or their phone line drops out, the Promoter (at its sole and absolute discretion) may decide to replace that Selected Entrant by contacting the Selected Entrant who submitted the next ‘best’ entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and invite them to participate in the On Air Challenge on the applicable weekday. The Promoter will repeat this process until a Selected Entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to participate in the On Air Challenge on the applicable weekday.
The Promoter’s decisions in regards to all On Air Challenges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entrants will also be asked at the time of entry if they would like to receive further information from SleepMaker, and if an entrant selects “yes” (via opt in tick box) when completing the online entry form their contact details will be passed on to SleepMaker (including for the purposes of direct marketing). Entrants may at any time unsubscribe from communications from Sleepmaker by following the unsubscribe procedure contained in SleepMaker communications sent to subscribers.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only win one Prize each.
All valid entries will be individually judged byrepresentatives of the Promoter, based on the Judging Criteria. The winner(s) will be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winners information set out below.
Each valid online entry submitted via the online entry form will be individually judged by the Judges based on creativity, uniqueness and appeal for radio.
Each Selected Entrant will be individually judged by the Judges based on enthusiasm and suitability/appeal for radio.
Prizes
There are up to five (5) prizes to be won these include:
$2,000(AU); and
The choice of one (1) SleepMaker Miracoil mattress and base up
to the value of $5,800 (incl GST)
Prizes will be transferred to the prize winner’s nominated Australian bank account (or their parent/guardian’s nominated bank account where the winner is aged under 18 years) via electronic funds transfer.
Up to $39,000 (incl GST)
Winners will be notified:
- via telephone;
- on air at the time of winning;
by Friday 15 July 2016.
Prizes must be claimed by 5.00pm (AEST) on Friday 21 October 2016.
