Christmas in July Promotion
THE PROMOTION
1. Christmas in July (the Promotion) commences on 3/07/2016 at 9am and ends on
30/7/2016 at 8.00pm (the Promotion Period).
2. The Promoter is Box Hill RSL 26-28 Nelson Road Box Hill Victoria 3128
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Entry into this Promotion is open to Box Hill RSL Members. Box Hill RSL warrants
that membership of the program does not require the entrant to agree to receive any
gaming machine advertising.
2. In order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion, a person must be aged 18 years
or over and must be a member of the Program administered at Box Hill RSL which is
participating in the Promotion (Entrant).
ENTRY
3. All entries into the Promotion will be generated by the Promoter via the computer
software used to deliver the Program.
4. Entrant will automatically receive an entry into the promotion when using their
Premium Rewards card, entry into the promotion is as follow
5. Premium Rewards points are automatically converted into promotional entry into the
monthly promotion at a rate of 20 points = 1 entry
6. All entries will be placed in the barrel at 7.45pm for 8.00pm draw on 30/7/2016
7. Additional bonus entries will be given out on the night from 6.00pm on the 30/7/2016
8. The first 10 entries will each have the choice to select an envelope containing the
name of the prize they have won. if a winner (s) is not present on the night, an
envelope will be drawn on their behalf by a Box Hill RSL staff members and will be
notified as point 10.

10. The prize draw winner will be notified within 5 days of the relevant draw date.
11. The prize draw winner will be notified either at the venue in person or by way of the
telephone number provided on the entry form.
12. If the winner (s) of a prize cannot be contacted within 30 days after the draw, the winner
will be deemed to have forfeited any entitlement to the prize, which will be re-drawn at
Box Hill RSL at 3.pm on the 30/8/2016.
INVALID DRAWS/ENTRIES
13. If the Promoter reasonably suspects that a drawn Entrant or Winner is not eligible, has
breached these Terms and Conditions, or has acted improperly to increase their
chances of winning the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the
Prize to that drawn Entrant or Winner and conduct a re-draw for the Prize that the drawn
Entrant or Winner would otherwise have won.
GENERAL
14. Information on the Prize and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Prize (or any part of it) if there
are any changes to the law, which would or might render any aspect of the Promotion
or the Prize unlawful. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any
part of it) for an item or items of similar value.
17. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these Terms and Conditions
make no provision or in relation to which the relevant Terms and Conditions are
unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or
issue in its sole and absolute discretion and such decision will be final and binding.
18. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are
not transferable or exchangeable. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
19. Directors, management and employees of Box Hill RSL, their immediate families and
any agencies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to participate in the
Promotion.
20. Participants in the Promotion and/or the Prize agree that their participation in the
Promotion and/or the Prize is at their own risk and, to the extent permitted by law, the
Promoter will not be liable for any damage or loss (including without limitation personal
injury, loss and profits and loss of income) suffered by any person in connection with
any participation in the Promotion or the Prize.
21. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims,
losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered sustained or incurred
(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of
or in any way connected with the Promotion and/or the Prize, except for liability that
cannot be excluded by law. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of the
Prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
22. Entry into the Promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
of entry and is deemed approval to use the Winners’ name(s) and photograph(s) for
publicity purposes. The Promoter may at its discretion refuse to award the Prize to any
entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
23. The laws of the state of Victoria govern the Promotion.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion, and
administer, the Promotion. Without your personal information we cannot enter you in
the Promotion. Subject to some exceptions allowed by law, you may request access to
your personal information while we store it. We will assess your request in accordance
with the law and tell you why if access is denied. A request to access, update or correct
any information should be directed to Privacy Officer at Box Hill RSL 26-28 Nelson
Road Box Hill Victoria 3128.
