THE COMPETITION
By entering this competition, Contestants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Contestants must be Australian residents to be eligible to enter.
Contestants must be 18 years of age and older to be eligible to enter.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and anything else that refers to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

ENTRY
To enter, Contestants must collect the entry form and 3 tokens published in The Chronicle newspaper on the following dates:
Entry Forms - Saturday July 23, 2016, Monday July 25, 2016, Saturday July 30, 2016 and Monday August 1, 2016.
Tokens – Monday July 25, 2016, Wednesday July 27, 2016, Friday July 29, 2016, Saturday July 30, 2016 Tuesday August 2, 2016 and Wednesday August 3, 2016.
The entry form and tokens must be original newsprint.
Photocopies, scanned images, web prints, reproductions or other falsified artwork will not be accepted.
The entry form must be completed in full with three (3) tokens attached and placed in an envelope addressed to The Chronicle – Airnorth Send Me North Competition; then:
Send to: PO Box 42, Toowoomba, QLD 4350; or
Deliver to: 109 Neil Street, Toowoomba, Qld, 4350.
Entries must be received within the Promotion period (clause 12).
Contestants may submit more than one entry, however there is only one (1) prize).
One original entry form and three (3) tokens per standard envelope equals one (1) valid entry.
While entry is free, contestants are responsible for any cost associated with posting or delivering entries.
PRIZES
There will be one (1) winner chosen by random draw. The winner will receive:
Return Domestic flights from Toowoomba to Cairns for 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years of age, departing Toowoomba Airnorth Terminal, Wellcamp with 2 night’s accommodation at the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, in the Superior Pool View Room.
Includes full buffet breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children (aged under 16 years).
The winner must collect their prize by close of business November 7, 2016.
This prize does not include any other travel, meals, transportation or incidentals other than specified in the prize.
Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort Terms and Conditions
Bookings Subject to availability and not available on Public Holidays or School Holidays.
Extension to the valid date of the voucher are not available.
The Novotel Voucher expires 30/6/2017.

Airnorth Voucher Terms and Conditions
Return domestic flights for a family of 4 expires June 30, 2017 and cannot be extended if not taken.
Travel must be completed by June 30, 2017.
Travel is subject to Airnorth schedule changes and cancellation; in the event of cancellations the voucher cannot be redeemed for cash.
Voucher ID must be quoted when booking flights.
Voucher is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Voucher can be used for new bookings only and not for a refund on an existing paid booking.
Voucher cannot be split into separate bookings.
The voucher bookings must be or travel on the same flights and dates.
The voucher is excluded for travel on any Queensland public or school holiday.
Flights must be booked at least five (5) working days prior to travel.
Flights are subject to availability in prize booking class, advised by Airnorth at the time of booking.
A ‘no-show’ will constitute a voluntary forfeit of the airfare.
Only one (1) change (excluding name change) is permitted without penalty.
Changes inside 48 hours of travel are not permitted.
Service and routes offered subject to schedule change.
The voucher can be used for a child booking (2 – 11 years incl.) and the child must travel with an adult parent/guardian.
Unaccompanied children are not eligible to be booked on this voucher.
No discount or re-compensation of the value of the airfare will be provided for a child booked on this voucher or if value of airfare booked is the lesser of the eligible routes included.
The total maximum retail value of the prize pool is $4,102.00 (inclusive of GST).
All prizes are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in item values.
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a contestant winning a prize, are the sole responsibility of that winner.
Prizes are non-transferable and can’t be redeemed for cash, exchanged or used for any other competition.
If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter may substitute a prize of similar nature and/or like or greater value.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The competition commences on Saturday July 23, 2016 and closes at 5:00pm Monday August 8, 2016 (“promotion period”). Entries received after the promotion period will be deemed as invalid.
ELIGIBILITY LIMITATIONS
The following persons are ineligible to enter:
Employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter as far as they are directly associated with this competition;
The spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household);
Contestants who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.
All Contestants acknowledge that even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible person, it may require the return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter to be dealt with as an unclaimed prize.
PRIZE DRAW:
The prize winner will be selected in a random draw at The Chronicle office, 109 Neil Street, Toowoomba at 10:00am Tuesday August 9, 2016 and prizes awarded following winner validation and verification. Winners will be contacted by telephone.
Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be published in The Chronicle Public Notices on Wednesday August 10, 2016.
All Contestants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish his/her name, character and likeness.
All contest winners must avail themselves for a photo if required by the Promoter and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to utilise publicity photos in any reasonable manner it sees fit without compensation to the Contestant.
PRIZE COLLECTION
Prizes must be claimed in person and Government issued Photo ID is required to confirm the identity of the winner and their residency.
Any winner must complete a Competition Release Form to confirm collection of their prize.
It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim their prize.
Prizes that remain uncollected 90 days after initial draw will be placed in an uncollected prize redraw at The Chronicle, 109 Neil Street, Toowoomba as per these original terms and conditions. Redraw winners will be contacted immediately after the draw.
PROMOTER’S LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
27. The Promoter is not responsible for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner. The Promoter also takes no responsibility for prizes lost or stolen after they have been released for delivery via postage or courier.
28. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes.
29. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any person and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.
PRIVACY
30. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter and its related parties, subject to the limits contained in the Privacy Statement and as set out in these terms and conditions.
31. The Promoter and its related parties, also collect personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may use and disclose such information in accordance with its privacy policy

32. To facilitate your participation, the Promoter may disclose your personal information to other companies associated with this promotion.
