1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions.
2. Entry is open to residents of the Greater Melbourne, Greater Geelong, Werribee, Bellarine and Surf
Coast regions only, and entry is deemed as acknowledgement and acceptance of Conditions of
Entry.
3. bay 93.9 (Geelong Broadcasters Pty Ltd) employees and Searoad Ferries employees and their
immediate families and any agencies associated with this promotion are excluded from entry.
4. The Promotion commences at 6am AEDT on Monday 12th September 2016 and closes at 4pm
AEDT Thursday 6th October 2016 (‘Promotion Period’)
The Major Prize:

Prize Terms:
- The successful winner of the ‘bay 93.9’s Quizneyland’ will be notified via phone and email
within 48 hours of the competition and their names and suburb will be published on
www.bay939.com.au- Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in
the value of the prize.
- The prize is not transferable.
- The prize cannot be allocated to other persons.

The Competition:
- From Monday 12th September 2016 to Thursday 6th October 2016, listeners can call
through on the cue to call and play ‘bay 93.9’s Quizneyland’.
- Four times across the day between 8am AEST and 4pm AEST the first caller through will
be required to answer 2 out of 3 questions correctly to be in the draw for the Major Prize.
- All those who enter will win a minor prize.
- Once answered incorrectly, they will be allowed to attempt the competition again after 24
hours has passed.
- Entries close at 4pm on Thursday 6th October 2016.
- On Thursday 6
th October 2016 at 4.30pm AEST one winner will be selected via random
barrel draw.
- The winner will be announced on Friday 7th October at approximately 8.45am AEST.
The Competition Terms:
1. bay 93.9 (Geelong Broadcasters Pty Ltd) decision is final and no correspondence will be
entered into.
2. All registrations must be over the age of 18 years old.
3. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
4. No alternative prizes will be offered.
5. This competition is no association with the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
6. All information collected will be kept for administrative purposes only.

identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification
considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
9. The use of false name or address, i.e. name by which the entrant is not usually known will
disqualify them from receiving the prize.
10. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and
any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any
damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in
connection with the Promotion, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii)
any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or
death.
11. bay 93.9 (Geelong Broadcasters Pty Ltd) reserves the right to refuse the allocation of a minor
or major prize should an individual prize winner have won any prizes more than once within the
following periods:
A person who within the 30 days prior to the day on which the Geelong Broadcasters
Competition was first announced has won a prize in a Grant Broadcasters Competition
conducted earlier in time the value of which is greater than or equal to $50;
A person who within the 90 days prior to the day on which the Geelong Broadcasters
Competition was first announced has won a prize in a Geelong Broadcasters Competition
conducted earlier in time the value of which is greater than or equal to $1,000;
A person who within the 12 months prior to the day on which Geelong Broadcasters
Competition was first announced has won a prize in a Geelong Broadcasters Competition
conducted earlier in time the value of which is greater than or equal to $10,000;
12. If an individual prize winner has won more than once in the above periods it is classed as a
breach of the rules and the prize will not be awarded.
13. bay 93.9 (Geelong Broadcasters Pty Ltd) has the right to ban competition winners from
entering other Bay939 (Geelong Broadcasters Pty Ltd) competitions that they deem have
broken the rules of the general prize giveaways for a period of 12 months. The winner will be
advised of this in writing after the entrant has been disqualified.
14. bay 93.9 (Geelong Broadcasters Pty Ltd) reserves the right to revoke a prize if deemed
necessary.
15. Notwithstanding any other condition of these specific competition rules, bay 93.9 (Geelong
Broadcasters Pty Ltd) reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time and for any
reason whatsoever.
