Terms and Conditions
1. Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the
promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, in
this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only those who sign up for a Gold Membership at www.sevenwesttravelclub.com.au
between midnight Friday 18 November 2016 to midnight Sunday 11 December 2016 and
pay the full $99 membership fee will be eligible to enter the competition.
3. Entry is open to all residents of Western Australia 18 years and over. Photo identification
may be required upon collection of the prize.
4. Current Gold Members of Seven West Travel Club will automatically be entered into the
draw.
5. The prize winner will be drawn at 10am on Monday 12 December 2016.
6. The first Gold Member drawn at random will be deemed the winner and will receive the
following prize.
- Two Business Class Tickets from Perth to Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town with South
African Airways
- Two seats on a locally escorted Grand Tour of South Africa with Bench Africa
The overall prize is valued at $26,806.92
7. The winner will be notified by phone after the prize draw. If the winner cannot be
contacted by 10am Wednesday 14 December 2016 the prize will be forfeited and another
winner will be drawn.
8. The prize/s must be taken as supplied and is/are neither redeemable for cash nor
transferable. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
Terms and Conditions for the South African Airways Business Class Flights
9. The tickets must be issued by 31 March 2017 or the ticket prize will be forfeited.
10. Each ticket awarded as part of this prize is valid for one return (round trip) journey.
11. All travel must be completed by 10 October 2017 and will exclude travel during peak
season (30 November and 16 January inclusive).
12. The tickets are valid for travel exclusively on SAA operated services to the destinations
stated in the body of the prize letter and exclude all codeshare flights and flights operated by
SA Express, SA Airlink and Mango Airlines.
13. Tickets may not be redeemed for cash, are not transferable, not-negotiable, and may not
be offered for sale or resale and have a nil cash value.
14. These tickets are not eligible for the accrual of Voyager miles or any associated frequent
flyer program points or miles.
15. Travel on these tickets will be strictly subject to the availability of the respective booking
class.
16. Maximum stay period shall not exceed 90 days from date of departure.
17. Any changes to the dates of travel after ticketing shall be permitted at a reissue fee of
AUD 50.00 per ticket and will be strictly subject to the availability of the relevant booking
classes for these tickets.
18. Rerouting of these tickets is not permitted after the tickets are issued.
19. All further travel - whether flights, hotel accommodation, touring etc – will be at the prize
winner’s own expense.
20. By accepting the prize, the prize winner agrees with the booking terms and conditions of
travel on South African Airways.
21. To claim this prize you will need to provide proof of claim by sending a letter and provide a
copy of your passport and passport copies for all passengers travelling on the prize winner
flights to SAA Reservations Australia.
Terms and Conditions for the Grand Tour of South Africa with Bench Africa
22. The prize is 2 x seats on a locally escorted Grand Tour of South Africa
Duration: 15 days / 14 nights
23. The prize is a land only package for two people and is valued at $7,320 ($3,660 per
person). Local flights between Durban and Port Elizabeth are included. The Grand Tour of
South Africa is a small group tour (4-16 passengers), and departs Johannesburg weekly on a
Sunday. The tour includes 14 nights’ accommodation, most meals (14 breakfasts, 1 lunch
and 7 dinners), the services of an English speaking tour guide and transport in an airconditioned
luxury vehicle.
24. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is non transferrable. The prize is valid for travel
between 30 April and 31 August 2017 and is subject to availability when booking. If there is
no tour running on the date requested, an alternative date will be advised at the time of
booking. No amendments are permitted once booked. The prize must be used by 31 August
2017. All extras such as international airfares and local airfares, taxes, drinks, gratuities,
visas, travel insurance and items of a personal nature.
25. It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb
published for publicity purposes if required. By participating in this competition, participants
signify their acceptance of all terms and conditions, and the requirement to participate in
promotional activity if required.
26. All contestants release from, and indemnify Seven West Media against, all liability, cost,
loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition
including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and
whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or
otherwise.
27. Seven West Media and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss,
damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.
28. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any individual who the promoters believes
have breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other
improper misconduct. The Promoters have legal rights to recover damages or other
compensation from such an offender.
29. The Promoters’ decision will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be
entered into. The Promoters reserve the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered
necessary without notice.
30. The Entrant consents to the use by West Australian Newspapers Limited, its related
corporations (as defined by the Corporations Act 2001), of the Entrant’s details and
acknowledges that West Australian Newspapers Limited and related corporations may, at
their discretion disclose and use those details for the purpose of providing them with goods or
services, communicating with Entrants, planning, research, product and business
development and sales, the competition and marketing (whether target, direct or indirect) of
their businesses, services or products or those of a third party which it believes may be of
benefit to them.
31. Employees of Seven West Media, their subsidiaries, their advertising agencies,
participating newsagents and resellers of The West Australian and The Weekend West
newspapers, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
32. If an Entrant does not want their details to be used for the purposes stated in the above

Officer, GPO Box D162 Perth WA 6840 and West Australian Newspapers Limited will ensure
that the details are not used for that purpose.
33. The details will also be used to investigate complaints, as required or permitted by any
law, to enable West Australian Newspapers Limited to perform their obligations under this or
any other agreement and to ensure that an Entrant performs their obligations under this or
any other agreement.
34. To access personal information kept by Seven West Media please refer to the Privacy
Policy. Please note that information will only be provided to the person detailed and current
photographic identification may be required prior to the release of any personal information.

36. On completion of the prize draw, all entries will be stored for a 12 month period at The
West Australian. This is a mandatory requirement of the Gaming and Wagering Commission
